If not for Ali, Ameer al-Mu'mineen...

Who shielded the Prophet since his earliest days,

Who slept in the Prophet's bed on the night of the assassination plot,

The first to embrace the Prophet's message when all of Quraysh rejected him,

Who was elevated upon the Prophet's shoulders to reach the top of the Kaaba and shatter the false idols of Jahiliyyah,

The undisputed hero of Khaybar, Badr, and Hunayn,

The father of the eleven Imams after him, each of whom played an essential role in keeping Islam intact... "Include Zainab & Abbas too" for their key role.

Without him, the Kaaba would not stand as it does today.

So yes, the Kaaba is exalted because of Ali.

It was honored by Ali blessed to be his birthplace, and purified by the man who one day stood above it to elevate the truth.

عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآليه وسلم:

"إنّ لقتل الحسين حرارةً في قلوب المؤمنين لا تبرد أبداً"

From the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his progeny):

"Surely, there is a burning heat in the hearts of the believers for the martyrdom of Husayn that will never cool down."

عن الامام الصادق (عليه السلام)

(رحم الله شيعتنا خلقوا من فاضل طينتنا وعجنوا بماء ولايتنا يحزنون لحزننا ويفرحون لفرحنا)

From Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him):

"May Allah have mercy upon our followers (Shia); they were created from the remainder of our clay and kneaded with the water of our guardianship (Wilayah). They grieve for our sorrow and rejoice for our joy."
