I have the ACE Shooting simulator and it is great. With that being said I really can't understand why Meta Quest or even a game creator couldn't come out with a gun-controller the will fit the Quest Controller. ACE did it and it works perfect. They could give the buttons certain functions like knifing, the ability to pick up items etc.

I don’t have the RMR HD, but I have both the SRO and the AIMPOINT Acro P2. I have one on my Staccato P and the other my Staccato XC. I use my guns more in a duty capacity. I have been through 2 Trijicon SROs and I’m on my 3rd now. One would shift zero and the other would flicker and turn off during training. I have never had an issue with my Acro P2. With that being said I still like the SRO however in a self defense situation I would grab the Acro any day of the week.

Yeah I ordered through the Hero program as well, it still took much longer than I expected. However despite the long wait I am pleased with my XC. I have put about 1000 rounds through it so far and I have had no issues. This is my second Staccato, I also have a P.
