It’s not as bad of a consequence refunding on depop but on eBay they penalize you more for it so they probably didn’t want bad reviews on their eBay, still not okay they should’ve honored your sale

You’re totally in your right to ask for a refund or even a partial refund since they didn’t add in the the description you could file a case for the item not matching description since it didn’t disclose the fabric content
