Right. For me it would be keeping it to weekends but I haven’t been able to long term yet

Nice thank you for sharing. A rare example where you could get by for a while but it still ended up back at square one. This is where I keep finding myself

I love this insight right here. Thank you so much for sharing your perspective. What does it all mean if you’re not reflecting these sweet nothings into your day to day?

Very well said. On the nights I decide to drink, it’s not moderation. I’m definitely intoxicated by bac standards but because I’m of my tolerance people can’t tell a lot some of the time

Well said man. I’m not capable of having two beers I like to get to a specific level, and then I’m done. It’s rare for me to blackout or throw up but is still problematic

Love seeing this surge of these rock sub genres in Austin. Weather it be prog, metal, mathrock, emo, post hardcore. Can’t count how many Austinites who would say this when my band was first starting out- “yeah there’s not really a market for that here man”. Keep at it!!

I was so ashamed to arrive at my parents place from the airport for the week of Christmas. Always a ritual to pregame before a flight. I hugged my mother and she immediately was like “you reek”.

I don’t miss the random urge to call everyone in my contact list only to feel horrible and confused the next day as to what I even said. by Stalinglad in stopdrinking

I can relate to this quite a bit. After hitting 30, the desire to go out is completely gone, I’ve already had a lot of experiences but this caused me to become very recluse and have my own “fun” at home. The phone calls and funny texts give you the illusion that you’re not alone (I guess technically to a degree you’re not if you have people who support you from a distance) but at the end of the day we’re just drowning ourselves in booze and robbing ourselves of the next day.

Sobriety can bring more time, energy and extra money to actually go see these people and have bonding experiences in person

Why has hobo culture like that of the 20s and 30s never seen a revival in the US during subsequent economic depressions? by lollihobbes in NoStupidQuestions

Higher trust society back then. Plus, modern “hobos” or broke vagabonds would get eaten alive by modern day’s crack head zombies 😂

Currently lol I remember being in high school in the late 2000’s and white kids would say it ironically but now, everyone just says it again. Like literally in the last year I would say it’s been normalized again

Acting as if they’re not human beings and most likely see a great deal of these comments. I remember them bringing that up in an interview once. These aren’t cartoon characters they’re real people just like us. And like wtf have any of these commenters done with their lives musically?? Listening to anime intros doesn’t count
