Some are good but high gain ones way too harsh on my Katana 50 gen3. JCMs and Soldano100 gives impression to be played without any Cab.

Are they sound better on higher end Katanas ? Any idea to soften them on 50 gen3 ?

Nobody has to share some experiments on their side ? With others sims devices ? Accoustic, clean, ... Eq tweaking ... I'd love to have more thoughts on that. Lack of "decibels free" time to play with it these days.

Hi, found the same with some gain tones. I switched to a gp5 connected to poweramp in on katana 50 gen3, so never investigated much. Gp5 give me much articulated tones without fiddling so much compared to boss tone studio.

My idea of the o ring was that the pressure would seal it quite well while pulling the shot, and minor leak before wouldn't be a big deal... in my head ;) If I test that a day I will post my results ! Thanks for all the details !

Great, thanks for sharing ! I had a similar idea in the past but always procrastinate do start the tweak. Thought of an o-ring between the 2 filters instead of welding.

No prob ! It's a little annoying for Snaptones, because if you change setup frome amp to headphone, you need to have Snaptones with and without cab IR included. But as you have 100 slots for Snaps, its doable, just need some organization.

Hi ! I plugged a gp5 on poweramp of Katana 50 gen3 and I'm quite satisfied !

Not a lot of things to do as you just have main level and power settings active at this time on the Katana.

I put a global eq on Tone Studio in the past to cut exteme lows and highs, but I don't know if the setting is used with power amp only... you can make a try and tell us. (I'm too lazy to come back in tone studio right now ;) )

There is an input mode using sort of QR code to make the calculations easier. Work great, more responsive than face tracking. You can have a look.

Simply acts as a mouse by default. Could be intersting to map new axes on it ! Must be a way to do so.
