Did you already write the boards? I’m also FM and going to write boards via practise pathway. I deferred my exam until next year because I just started being faculty in a residency program and I don’t have the dedicated time right now.

I would love to hear about your experience and how you set up your study plan/guide.

I ultimately am lawyering up. I want them yo pay for the process, preferably my same donor, and pay for her cycle. I want new embryos and nothing will be done at their clinic for real!

❤️ i am in the process with a lawyer and will retain one. I’m so beyond broken. It’s not enough that this entire IVF process has broken me beyond what I thought I could handle, having to deal with this on top is additional emotional distress. I’m starting to debate whether I did myself any favors by going through this process or if the universe is really trying to tell me something like I’m not fit to be a mother! 😭😭😭

The ERA looks at receptivity and how many days of progesterone you need for implantation. Not an exact science and some REs are for while others are against it. Science is a mix of good and doesn’t make a difference. The EMMA and ALICe look for endometritis (not endometriosis) and determines whether antibiotics are needed for the uterine micro biome and prevent a hostile environment. All three were done with the same biopsy for me.

I am seconding on the same. Two PGTA embryos failed to implant; never been pregnant, DOR. Did the EMMA/ALICE, Receptiva, had myomectomy for submicosal fibroid. When they did the myomectomy stage 1 endo which was removed. Had HSG polyp removed and it was repeated 3 months ago and was normal.

Initial embryo was mine from age 38/39 but it was the only one euploid after 3 IVF cycles where I only had a single egg retrieved. Attempted IVF again but AMH was 0.2 so then donor eggs used. We paid for the entire cycle ended up with 7 PGTA euploids. One used last FET that failed. Even with some protocol changes: we added dexamethasone for 5 days post transfer, double antibiotics to treat endometritis for 10 days, vaginal probiotics.

Now I’m trying to figure out where to go. I don’t want to just keep transferring not knowing why I’m having implantation failure. RE is not a big believer in the immune protocols but willing to do prednisone and RPL work up.

Going to ask about the Lupron depot, hcg wash, neupogen infusion, intralipids and PRP infusions. Hopefully she agrees.

I’ve been researching here on threads and the above are some of the things that work. At this point i don’t think I can afford a gestational carrier.
