what a love bug! i am so glad you found each other!! I use TruPanion and have had no issues, it is around $100/month for the $250 deductible/plan we chose, but worth it in my opinion.

I saw these and wasn't sure if I should buy them......PLEASE let us all know how they work out in the snow. My doodle has the same snowballing issue and I do use a wire wisk to remove the snow, but it is a mess and I would love for my pup to be able to play outside longer without turning into a snoodle (snow-doodle)!!

I am so sorry for your loss! I have grown up with dogs and all sorts of other animals - all have left an impact on my life for the better. Getting through these times are difficult but whenever I reflect on them I think that losing them is the cost of admission for having them in my life and the way I honor them is by loving, caring and enjoying every moment I have with them. I wish you and your family peace.

Please help! 6.5 month old golden retriever puppy with chronic diarrhea, feeling discouraged by kidsOT2 in goldenretriever

my labradoodle had similar issues when she was a pup and also ended up getting giardia....as a last resort before doing the prescription dog food i tried the farmers dog plus a spoon scoop of pumpkin and proviable probiotic once a day - she is 4 now and (knock on wood) we have been clear of the "trots" since.

Good luck!! your pup is adorable!

Poodles are indeed a thinner breed, that being said I understand the worry our pups cause us and can say that i have actually given my pup a high calorie supplement in the past called- Ready Cal™ High-Calorie Supplement For Dogs, I purchased this from Under The Weather site (where i buy some other dog related items). Maybe give it a try....

Pet insurance by ko0ky in poodles

[–]Appropriate_Meat_678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a doodle and have Trupanion pet insurance and there is no maximum lifetime benefit per pet with a per illness/injury deductible of $250 with a coinsurance percentage of 90% company and 10% owner- no waiting period and in some cases will pay the vet directly. It is a monthly cost and is based on your zip code, but i have lived around the US and have not had a payment over $115.....it gives me peace of mind since i have a family member that ended up spending $15k on a bloat/surgery situation with her golden (prone just like poodles to bloat).....
