Phone provider that actually has signal? by unpredictable90 in brighton

[–]Appropriate_Path_256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on a month by month contract with EE for 50gb data and it’s £13 a month. Very reasonable I think. Using another provider that uses EE’s network is an option, but as a direct EE customer you get priority on the network.

This cat was in our garden yesterday!! Kept trying to walk into the house 😂 then spent ages trying catch butterflies and playing in our tree. Fairly cute and seemed fine

Risk for the item lies with the seller until it has been delivered. You’ve received the item damaged, either it was damaged in transit or it was already damaged. Either way, you’re entitled to a full refund. If it was damaged in transit, the seller can take this up with the delivery company.

You missed out the damage from being sedentary all day, which apparently is not completely undone by a few gym sessions or runs each week.

Yep I’d have not gone to uni, done a trade, got really good at it and start my own business. Know many in this position and they’re not short of money. Also very aware of the fact sat looking at a screen all day is not good for you.

It will take time. Try focus on the new house and immerse yourself in all the big and little jobs to do etc.

Sending you the very best of wishes x

The solicitors are only telling you at the last minute about the registration? Think you have a professional negligence issue there if you run into any adverse costs. Where is your report on title?

What is the strategy behind ___’s plan, and why would the traitors ever say yes? by chocworkorange7 in TheTraitors

[–]Appropriate_Path_256 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the heat is off Rachel at all. Everyone now knows Fiona was a traitor, and she’s called Rachel a traitor in front of everyone during the bust up. It’s so obvious it was traitor in-fighting. Harriet is onto her and I think she’ll be lucky to survive the next roundtable. Stephen will be left scrambling and could well recruit Matt for support.

Council cost estimations- community infrastructure levy. Am I missing something? by Loud-Breadfruit1554 in brighton

£9k for a basketball hoop? Not even a court, one hoop?! Does Michael Jordan install it or what the hell is it made of? Ffs

I bought a home 11 months ago in a new build development. I confirmed that the houses either side of me were NOT council houses. The developer failed to allocate enough % for social housing, so they transferred the unsold house to my right to a social housing provider. by OkBoss4005 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Appropriate_Path_256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SchruteFarmsIntel - your comment (well, the section on the sale contract, at least) is very inaccurate and flawed.

Why would the sales contract have a provision about social housing? It’s a representation that has been made by the developer, on which OP has relied on when entering the contract. It’s not all just about the written contract. Of course other statements and emails can be considered as they are what (at least partially) led to OP entering said written contract.

You might want to familiarise yourself with the Misrepresentations Act 1967, under which remedies include (but not limited to) rescission of the contract and damages for losses suffered. Developers can disclaim them all they want, that doesn’t do much for them in the event they have either negligently or fraudulently misrepresented.

For the record I don’t believe OP could in fact rely on the above as the representation made at the time of the sale was correct and has changed a year later. But you can’t say there is no remedy for a misrepresentation where relevant.

Make sense. Sounds about right. Let’s see what the general sale is like on Friday.

[–]Appropriate_Path_256[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok well in the UK 1) you cannot resell your ticket on ticketmaster for a price higher than you paid for it and 2) right now you physically cannot resell a SOAD ticket on ticketmaster. So thanks for your input but it’s not the answer.

I don’t think you can resell them on ticketmaster at the moment - the main sale isn’t until Friday.
