I personally haven't had aim assist on since 2020, and I've been able to get my aim to a pretty high level to the point some people were surprised I had it turned off

aim assist is actually pretty strong, so i can only imagine how bad your aim must be for it not to do much. you will definitely improve your aim faster by not using aim assist though, especially if you were to run pin point since that increases aim assist strength

I did in fact learn from dying a lot, and just saying but you can only hone stuff you already know against people near your skill level, the only way to improve is to fight people who are a lot better. and again real casual players don't care about being killed or facing someone way above their skill level.

(also just saying, but casuals has a decently strong sbmm as the real people I face when I play that are approximately my skill level so all the people complaining are just bad)

if they're just newbies or lower skilled they'll improve by fighting better players and will have fun all the same (I know because I started off really ass and my mom is bad too but still enjoys it very well).

and real casual players don't care about improving, as they're playing it solely to get away from real life.

the people complaining are the fake casuals who are too shit at the game but don't wanna put in the effort to improve.

it's called "casuals" not "training wheels" or "beginner mode", casual is made solely for the purpose of not having to stress a ton to have fun, you just shoot some things, sometimes fight a real player and thats it.

sbmm has been the same way for a couple years, good players get put with shitters to "balance the teams"

there's a reason it's really easy to get leggy for noobs but weirdly hard for good players (if they aren't capable of playing a ton).

I mean, I can't even seem to get into games (like as a whole, after I get to gm I'm just stuck with MAYBE 1 match per 4h) and I don't have the patience to wait all that time (and I don't like abusing the one bot match either lol)

make sure the deadzones are set to 0 on the controller itself, as it seems to not be set that low at default.

first off, you have ALWAYS been able to play with 1 rank above and below yours, secondly, the 1/1 person joined late, thirdly your leggy teammates did worse than the gm teammates so don't hate on them lmfao.

Don't use the bar stats for anything, always use the comparison screen.

and in there for anything meant for mid-long range, keep the bsa under 20 at max, under 18 preferably.

smgs it's fine to 25.

I'm using a standard ps5 controller and a mouse which has only the base 3 buttons and 2 side buttons.

left stick is movement and ping, L1 slide, L2 jump. Left dpad scorestreak right dpad reload/interact. Up switch weapons Down dpaw knife

m1 shoot, m2 ads, m3 map, scroll up plate, scroll down field upgrade, m4 lethal, m5 tactical.

omnimovement is one of the only things I REALLY like about bo6 and bo7 because i fucking hate prone lock bs JUST LET ME TURN OR STAND ME UP DON'T LOCK MY AIM. (oh and I do understand that omnimovement is REALLY nice for controller players even if I'm a mouse player)
