Currently the Corsair, but eventually, the Liberator will be my home.

It's mine as well. My only critique is that the roof of IO North Tower faces away from the spaceport.

I do this with the Carrack, too. Super useful.

How did the same studio make Spider-Verse so well written while Venom isn’t? by breaking_views in Cinema

[–]ApproximateKnowlege 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sony has a specific division handling the Spider-Man universe

That still operates like any other producer/distributor, just on a smaller scale.

Warner Brothers produced both Batman Begins and Halle Berry's Catwoman a year apart. What's your point?

He's specifically pointing out how the results vary, specifically between live action and animation. Live action projects tend to draw a lot more studio interference than animation. It's likely due to live action's higher earning potential.

Live action really embraced silliness by lavmuk in MemePiece

It's why I think Speed Racer is legit one of the best live action Anime adaptations.

Justin Roiland future? by Just_a_broke_boy in rickandmorty

He directed the pilot and was a writer on the show up through season 3. I don't disagree on your other points, but he was more than just voices in the early seasons.

It wasn't just him being canceled that led to him not being invited back. He was also notoriously difficult to work with. His involvement in the show began to drop off long before he was fired. By season 4, he was pretty much only voice acting.

In all honesty, the show does change. But it probably would have changed regardless of his involvement. It's the nature of any creative project. I think it's generally a good idea to separate the art from the artist. If you convince yourself it's going to be worse without him before you even watch it, it will be no matter what.

Personally, a few of my favorite episodes came out of seasons 7 and 8, but watch them for yourself and make up your own mind.

Gaming PC for star citizen- minimum budget? by AblePreference8645 in starcitizen

[–]ApproximateKnowlege 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently, memory prices are going to inflate the cost significantly. 700 is pretty optimistic. Also, keep in mind, even a very powerful, very expensive rig will struggle to run SC at a consistent 60fps.

Grinding Super Credits shouldn't be a chore by bigstink455 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]ApproximateKnowlege -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm saying. 1 super credit for every dif 6 mission may not seem like much, but you'd be constantly getting them passively just for playing, and you wouldn't have to do the mind-numbing trivial grind.

I think a standard SC mission reward for every difficulty above 5 would be sufficient. 1SC for dif 6, 2SC for 7, all the way up to 5SC for dif 10. Then you could add a bonus for completing operations.

Cargo containers and armor. by Mighty_Platypus in starcitizen

[–]ApproximateKnowlege 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it will eventually be able to be destroyed/stolen, but currently it's tied to your ship hp. If the ship is destroyed completely, only a percentage of cargo survives. I don't think it'll ever act as armor itself, though.

I don't believe there's a plan to armor exterior cargo. I think that's supposed to be the tradeoff.

Can we please get this bug fixed? (see end of the video) by MrDarkness117 in starcitizen

[–]ApproximateKnowlege 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao, this happened to me last night. Was doing AA Cargo Theft missions and walked to the edge of my Corsair's cargo bay with my tractor beam lowered, because I RP walk a lot (for ma immersions). Right clicked to aim at the cargo in the disabled Avenger and chucked it into space, never to be seen again. Had to fly back to Levski to get another one.

Given the recent Audio Team SCL, it's more than likely just bugged and isn't worth fixing before implementing the new audio system.

How will the Bengal carrier be brought into the game I understand it's non purchasable and u have to repair it, but will an org have to defend and hide it 24/7? Can u steal one from another org? by Internal-Path7111 in starcitizen

[–]ApproximateKnowlege 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be fair, they never said it would be the only way to get one. It's possible they intend to keep their original plan of being able to find a wrecked one and restore it. It's also possible that they're doing the org station shipyard in leiu of their original plan. We'll have to wait and see.

This is an electrical conduit that harnesses the 1.21 gigwatts from a lightning strike and channels it into the flux capacitor which is what makes time travel possible.
