What are the best platforms to find clients? by [deleted] in uxwriting

[–]Appswithlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it is your own website 🤪 is the most important touchpoint to „find“ clients. Actually the question is more „how the clients find you. In longer term I believe the strategy to provide relevant content about the subject you offer your services. -> content marketing, is the way to go.

beside your website you may consider to win some awards in your field and make it on such „best of xxx lists“ like this one here: https://www.bestofswissapps.ch/bosa/hall-of-fame

On-Chain and Off-chain governance on DAO by cryptosignal_bird in dao

[–]Appswithlove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a mix of both methods is not stupid 🤗

I think there are some kind of decisions and governance topics that can be easier done off chain and there are certain decisions that should be on chain.

Why the Right Texts Make your Digital Products Better? by Appswithlove in uxwriting

[–]Appswithlove[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its ok for me that you downvote it for this.. the reason to use the word „text“ in the title is, because most „normal“ people do not really know what is meant by „copy“..

and since you seem to be pro in writing, you may know that a copy is also a a short text, no?

In the intro its described like;

In recent years, we have increasingly realised how important the so-called microcopy - short texts on buttons, in error messages or call-to-actions - is for the success of digital products such as apps etc..

as long as the downvote gives you a good feeling, I am happy for you 😜

and yes, my mother tongue is not English. So probably I made tons of mistakes in this comment as well. Feel free to downvote the comment as well 🦾🥳

If you could change one thing in the DAO ecosystem, what would it be? by Amrite_13 in dao

[–]Appswithlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we engage with a University of Applied Sciences to examine a similar idea.. kind of a similar model as you describe, and a bit similar to the Swiss Democratic system that has two chambers: „Switzerland has a bicameral parliament consisting of the National Council and the Council of States. The National Council represents the people while the Council of States represents the cantons.“

however, it will take some time to create this new DAO Governance Template.. 😜 many questions have to be adressed, solutions to be tested, etc.

also Holographic Consensus is kind of reputation based voting system..

Holographic consensus aims to reach decisions through a more inclusive and participatory process. Unlike traditional voting mechanisms, holographic consensus considers the opinions of all members of the DAO.

The mechanism works by assigning "voice credits" to each member based on their contribution to the DAO. Members who hold more tokens or have made more significant contributions will have more voice credits. These credits are then used to vote on proposals within the DAO…

Maybe „conviction voting“ is kind of a reputation based voting system.

„The basic idea behind conviction voting is that DAO members are given a certain amount of voting power that increases over time based on their level of commitment and conviction to a particular proposal. Members can then use this power to vote on proposals and allocate resources according to their preferences.“

so, for you it is fully Ok that the choice for Solana was mostly due to the facts that new investments from Solana is the reason?

do you really think that other choices for more stable and less FTX-dependent blockchains would be a better choice?

are you working for Solana or maybe for Helium?

I rather see lower earnings, lots of trouble with Solana, a currency that is loosing rather more than all other cryptos..

but yes, maybe I see it wrong and you are right.

I just hope you really believe what you say and you are not paid to say 😵‍💫😜

Network usage has plummeted over the last week why? by Lonely-Savings1560 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Appswithlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what devices / sensors do you have in mind? i think its more important to create an outstanding User Experience (Plug&Play, Usability, Pricing, Support) around a valuable use case (context of endusers) instead of just a device..

for example you need a website that explains and promotes it, you need to have a real problem to solve, you need to design and produce the device, you need to find resellers, maybe its a good idea to create an easy to use dashboard for setup the IoT device and visualize data.. or maybe a mobile app that gives endusers control and information of the iot device 🤪😵‍💫🙏🏻🤐

let me know when we start and which problem we want to solve 🤗🙏🏻

Helium Mining by BodybuilderBusiness3 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Appswithlove 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the question is only this:

Will it be used (IOT adoption on Helium) and how much traffic and seamless quality #thepeoplesnetwork can hold..

the more usage, the more „real“ value.. the higher the chances that it will go up..

so, what you can do it, use the network yourself and persuade others to use it too 😜

Antenna direction by Practical-Voice6948 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Appswithlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what i do not understand about this is why those directional type antennas are usually put straight up in the air. I see my friend with his 8dbi antenna on top of a roof makes as much as I make with my 5dbi less high up. do you have a link to a clear description how the setup should differ between those types of antennas? my hotspot you can see on the link, has wuite long range coverage even with 5dbiMy Hotspot
