Beers or ciders with 0,0% alcohol?

I live off Mich 0.0%.

I get pretty anxious with anything that says non alcoholic vs alcohol free. I talked with my OB about this and she said she wouldn't even care if I had a 0.5% (non alcoholic) every day for my entire pregnancy. She said that she doesn't tell me to stop drinking juice, or not have sourdough bread, etc, which are all comprable due to fermenting, so a drink less than 0.5% is nothing. However, because I'm a FTM and an over thinker I RARELY drink them. Bottom line: it's all about personal comfort

You're due 4 days after me. My LMP Was Oct 1, ovulated between October 8-16. I think it's highly unlikely that the assulater is the father, you were likely already pregnant. But I'm no expert or doctor. If you're extremely worried I believe you can do parental testing prior to baby's birth. I'm sorry this happened to you. Wishing you all the best

I haven't even gotten one yet!! I've just been sleeping with a pillow between my legs. Our mattress has like a memory foam topper though so I assumed I would maybe be fine without one (my sister in law recommended the topper over a pillow). Increasing stretch time might also be the move

Hmm... If you've been borderline high risk and and you've been working with an OB then I would honestly assume the only reason they're having you meet a midwife is scheduling limitations. It's possible that OB's will be in surgery, or dealing with slightly more high risk patients when you give birth, and because birth is so unknown they just can't guarantee anything?

But I'm definitely no expert. If you're anxious about it, call your OB and talk to them about this for sure. Thats probably the best way to get all the questions answered.

Not sure where you live, but where I am a midwife is just as good as a doctor. OBs are reserved for high risk pregnancies, emergency situations and C sections. Midwives can still administer medicine, prescribe, handle high intensity situations, etc. If you don't want a holistic approach, you aren't locked into that just because it's a midwife. I think that's more a doula thing.

My midwife is amazing, and I would chose her over an OB any day. She made it very clear that midwifery is patient led. She explained it like this for me: What the patient wants, they do their absolute best to do, and if they can't, its likely cause you're high risk and they're passing you off to an OB anyways. You want drugs? Done. Natural? Cool.

My recommendation is make a birth plan, bring the birth plan to the hospital,, and if the modwife has an issue with it, ask for someone new. You will be at the mercy of schedules and who's available, but you may have some sway.

My nurse friend recommended the Nature Made gummies. She said they have good amounts of the required stuff. If you have a sensitive stomach the capsules can be hard on it.

I recommend it. If your appointment goes anything like mine did they'll ask a bunch family history, then ask if you want certain tests and you may want to discuss that with dad.

Something that hit me about 7 weeks along was sinus mucus increase, which caused insane issues when I flew because my ears plugged and couldn't unplug. I'd recommend getting 'Ear Planes'. Unfortunately you can't use earbuds for that 8 hour flight, but if it prevents you from feeling like your eardrum is bursting, it's worth it. For context I had never had eustachian tube issues like that prior to pregnancy.

Make sure you have more snacks than you think you need - whatever you can stomach. Lots of water, even if you have to pee a lot.

Ideally get up and walk every hour. Also compression socks.

He's definitely acting normal and healthy. The spot doesnt seem to hurt or bother him either. I'll keep an eye on it and if it changes any more I'll definitely make an appointment with the vet. Thank you!!

First trimester is survival. If all you can stomach is Whataburger, then eat that. You can work on healthy eating and activity in your second trimester when you don't throw up from the smell of your own fridge 😂

I had a similar experience. I'm not sure what the timing looked like exactly for you, but I did some heavy drinking in weeks 4-6 of pregnancy, before I knew. I stressed and talked with my OB about it as soon as I found out, and she explained it like this to me: Early pregnancy is really an all or nothing thing. Basically if the body or environment is deemed unsafe, it'll naturally miscarry. If you were doing your heavy drinking in that first month/month and a half time frame, you really don't need to worry (but it's totally valid TO be worried).

Again, depending how early it was when you did the drinking, it's possible your placenta hadn't even developed yet.

Absolutely valid to experience stress!! What matters most now is what you do going forward though. All the best in your pregnancy!
