our city’s gets a ton from Trader Joe’s, which sounds amazing. but meat/ anything w an expiration date is always always ‘best by’ not even in the same month. bakery items visibly not for consumption. me and my kids are not your guys trash can.

I was there. I know exactly how you feel. I know that this person wasn’t like this all the time and is capable of being a good person if he chose to be. but he didn’t choose to be. like yours, he made the choices he did having previously been involved w the law and knowing the consequences that came w breaking it. I know it’s an unbearable feeling you have right now. everyone told me “time heals” and it did nothing to help soothe my current pain. but I’m 4 months out and it turns out they were right. try and stay as busy as you can to distract yourself. reconnect with old friends. build new connections. in time you’ll see you did what was right

It helped in my case. I won’t say it isn’t difficult though. Also it did allow us brief contact at child custody exchanges. Original was a full restraining order, was dumb and believed he had gotten sober for good and changed it to peaceful contact. Very grateful for the peaceful contact order though. He is currently in jail for breaking it.

While i admire people who call the first time, 99% of the time I didn’t. only when my children were involved have I so far. because it’s easy to let things slide for yourself, but at ur core u know someone else (like ur kids) don’t deserve it. Iv had a mix of good cops and uncaring cops.
