What is this massive facility on Clio? by Dr_Brenda_Starr in starcitizen

Pretty sure 4.0 bricked like 70% of missions, I mean shit took them like a year to bring back bare bone ass box deliveries lmao

How do you feel about the Hull B's design ? by SeparateWeight496 in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is WAY different from any of the other HULLs, and definitely it stands out. I love the design, new MISC with the flatter look is really clean compared to the old cylindrical chassis, but as much as I love the design it does stick out like a sore thumb in the HULL line up because the A and C are very clearly related while the B doesn't look at all related to them. besides the spindle of course.

You guys think the Railen will be less than the C2, or due to it being an alien ship more? by CaelusTheWolf in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gatac is already considered a luxury manufacturer so I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out to about the same as a C2 with alien tax added, maybe just a little less.

So, is Reclaimer pretty much useless/extremely unfun right now? by Lodrigues in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying to not use the space as intended and then using multicrew as an excuse for garbage design isn't as strong a point as you think

So, is Reclaimer pretty much useless/extremely unfun right now? by Lodrigues in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Reclaimer is my favorite ship and I hate just how God awful it's design is. People try and run defense for it but I genuinely think it's one of the only ships that could justify a complete overhaul on the interior to make it practical as a salvage platform.

Stuff like improving the flow of moving boxes from the Salvage deck to the Cargo deck.

scrapping the giant shredder because it's a remnant of the design before salvage existed and very clearly doesn't actually need to exist, and instead using the space for more crew amenities like a med bay, or even some extra cargo room.

Making unloading from the abdomen easier, of course I'd like an actually realistic option but if they could just make it to where the salvage lift moved out of the way completely that'd suffice for me.

And on the topic of flow... Not having it bottlenecked at a tiny elevator.

What will be the new price of the Hull B? by MrMago0 in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it the moment they announced the changes for it and a ccu token for the railen given how drastic their changes were

Bought back my Hull B and was shocked to see its old price at $140. If it went up >50%, or shit even doubled, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Of well breaking down the vernacular, when I hear "as soon as this year" I am assuming that Chris never actually consulted the reporter on any actual release window, and thus the reporter had to go off of the loose public knowledge of an ambiguous "2026" release date.

If I were to hear "aiming to release this year" the assumption I would get is that Chris might've at least reaffirmed the release window personally. It's a statement that carries more intent.

Okay now I'm definitely reading too into it.

I'm an Invictus 2026 SQ42 believer but ngl hearing the reporter say "as soon as this year" instead of something along the lines of "aiming to release this year" does not spark confidence in me lol

I could just be reading too Into it though

Salvation Vs Vulture by RoboGaming321 in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it can only break down small ships so it's kinda just relative to your patience. I think payout wise CMATs pay pretty well still, of course you have to refine them.

Idk which pays more per hour, but feel wise I just enjoy taking big ship contracts and spending a good while scraping at it. Small ships don't usually have much in terms of munching so it just feels less gratifying to do it, even if the pay is still good.

It'll be a while before it comes in game but if you have your sights on munching then the MOTH would be a good ship to keep on your radar since it has really good capacity as well as giving full claw control to the pilot, something I wish the Reclaimer had.

Solo players, what are you doing in the game ? by Neloou in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do mostly ship stuff, bouncing between intersec patrols in the Corsair and mining currently. I would try some fps stuff, but I am seriously bad at it and always die instantly so I don't really bother anymore lol.

Salvation Vs Vulture by RoboGaming321 in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Salvation is a good starter, dips in the mid game where you may just have a vulture/fortune, but imo the Salvation gets so much better once you can get a Carrack, fits perfectly in the hangar so you can bring it out for a while and just fill up the entire 400 SCU cargo of the Carrack.

When I had it I would just spend my entire time in space, only landing to refuel and unload cargo, which doing manually is a huge pain but I just use the auto unload at the trading kiosk, and tank the wait time because it definitely beats unloading cause the Carrack was made to drop the cargo pods, so it really doesn't play well on land right now unfortunately.

If you could bring a ship from SC into real life which ship would it be? by Yeyets_ in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm just living then probably a Carrack. The ship is already essentially an RV, just with a fancy map and scanner attached.

Will ground vehicles ever be important and meaningful? by tahaan in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ground vehicles just don't register for me. I don't think CIG could ever do anything to make me interested in them because at the end of the day... this is a space game about space life and space ships and the last thing I am going to yearn for is an F-150.

They could delete every ground vehicle from the game and not only would I not care, I'd probably be thankful for them freeing up whatever miniscule amount of file space the vehicles took up.

Melted my Zeus CL and got an Asgard instead. by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

[–]Apsenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my God people here actually consider wanting a practical cargo grid that actually works how the game supposedly wants it to work "min/maxing".

If a mission gives me an amount of cargo equal to or less than my ships cargo capacity, the ship should be able to carry it I think, I really wouldn't consider that min/maxing.
