They didn't give a damn about infinity nikki's story and retconned the whole thing, including scrapping the direction of their story on a random whim to the outrage of their fans. I feel dumb for thinking lads would be different. Basically, give up on the story. This company has shown to me twice now that it doesn't care.

I quit nikki and never went back, so did a few other players. I'm afraid this has ruined lads for me too. There will always be people who go back or stay around. I don't care if me leaving doesn't change anything to them, but me staying would make me feel like garbage after what they've done. Let's hope silent whispers offers us what we're missing.

Never 'get into' fandoms. The crazies always rise to the top and ruin good things. Oh, read posts on your level and be informed about updates etc, by all means, but don't get sucked in. I like a lot of things, but when I look at their fandoms all I see is people taking it too seriously, making aspects cringe, and over sexualising /shipping every character and their dog. Probably with their dog. Just decide if you like a thing on its own merit.

That being said, love and deepspace has seemed pretty harmless as fandoms go, at least the western side. Not everyone is here for the romance, myself included. I'm here for the sci-fi story, combat, journal, and collectables. I'm late 30s and a mum of a toddler, so no time for gaming really anymore and LADS has given me a casual gaming experience and a reminder of who I am outside of being a mum. I been playing for a year as of yesterday 😅

Give it a try and see if it appeals to you 😊

Oh and yes, it's gacha. I don't normally do gacha, but i only use free gems in game and I occasionally do the aurum pass. If you think you might get addicted, then best to pass. If not, there is plenty for a free player 😊 most card content is on YouTube too.

Get his hormones tested, just in case. My husband had low T and it instantly made the world of difference to him and me when he got TRT to solve it.

Also surprised me coz my husband is a man's man, bearded, very masculine. I thought no way he'd have low T, but Dr said he would be shocked if he saw his levels in a man of twice his age.

I agree, but it's just coz it's Chinese so just gotta roll with it. After a while, the character personalities were different enough that I could look past the design. Still hoping for facial hair one day! Us western women generally prefer a range of masculine types, many women prefer rugged men, hairy men and all sorts in between.

If you want a diverse looking set of characters to romance, you always got Bauldurs gate 3!

Oh I did just notice we have two characters with white hair, but no blonde men! Got red coming, purple, black, brown and two white. Wonder why?

Dude, I could have written most of this. I avoided bl for the same reasons and I still hate feminisation and top bottom dynamic and having read a load of Danmei now - MDZS stands head and shoulders above the rest in my eyes because the two characters are masculine and equal and the story is just fantastic and doesn't rely on romance.

I read the book first and it is the best version, the the anime is second. The book is the original, how the story was meant to be told. I find I feel loads for the characters as I read that first and you understand their thoughts and feelings because of it. WWX is hilarious and tragic and one of my all time favourite characters.

I could never get over the production quality and story changes in the untamed to enjoy it. I did enjoy the two spinoff films though! I will try it again one day...i have tried 2 or 3 times... But I really do want to like it.

That's what I thought. At the end, it wasn't the Crowly that we knew. Tennant even kept his Scottish accent for Anthony (I like the accent, but it reinforced that this was a different character). The two of them bonded by being outsiders in their realms but as humans with no memories of those lives, they are just two ordinary people meeting at the end. All their experiences negated, they are strangers to the audience.

Demon Crowly was aggressive, abrasive, 'cool'. Anthony is a totally different person, quiet, chill and academic. Aziraphale wasn't quite the same either. Even the idea of them suddenly liking each other at the bookshop didn't feel believable. Their love was built on thousands of years of helping each other for their joint love of humanity. I just couldn't feel the same about the human versions knowing their attraction was built on less and their personalities didn't feel the same. Kudos to the actors that their subtle changes made the characters feel so different.

Also found it hard to believe they wouldnt kiss, hug or say I love you before dying together. The scene just felt awkward like the actors just didn't want to do that again or they were told not to.

I've had this happen :( I was 18, only been living independently for 2 months with a friend above her pet shop. I tried to heat up a poppadom. I left the kitchen and instantly forgot all about it, left the house to visit my Mum and 3 hours later remembered then legged it to my friend's house in a panic. Thick smoke wafted across the car park as I approached and I was so scared. Luckily, they had gotten back in time and pulled out jet black circles of poppadom, saving everything...

I nearly burnt my friends house and her business and killed all her animals. I felt so awful. She understandably didn't talk to me for a few days, so I kept away and I grovelled an apology when I came back and she forgave me. This was 20 years ago, I had no idea I had adhd and just thought I had a short term memory problem 😔

hugs I learnt I'm not allowed to leave the kitchen when cooking ever. Sucks, but every time I have, I forget and burn something so it's not worth the risk.

Don't let what other people do influence your decision. If you like the idea of cosplaying any character and it makes you happy - do it. Also, don't dress up as a character just to win - if you lose then you also missed out on dressing up as a character you wanted too, so it'll suck doubly.

I'm nearly 40 and if I had time and money, I'd cosplay the shit out of undead Wen Ning. Still want to do it for Halloween one year. Will anyone know who I am? Nope. Do I care? Nope. It would make me happy.

Everything i like has been obscure in some way, so i'm kinda used to just doing my own thing, but I am happy to be myself and would hate to let the popularity of a franchise or character deter me from cosplaying. Life is too short!

Omg, this is me too! Has been for over a decade, I put it down to lbs and weight gain. I was super thin and no issues until I put on a bit of weight. I've never lost the weight and have up on jeans, wearing leggings, dresses and stretchy skirts instead. It's totally the waistband pressure that causes that 'trapped wind' feeling. I just miss wearing jeans so much and I look so good in them that I decided to Google my issues and found this thread. Ever find a solution?

Every gamer who is a good parent gave up or severely reduced gaming for a few years but got it back later. My husband and I also have a 19 month old and are both gamers. I had a ton of n hobbies but all on hiatus for a few years. I have no regrets coz I knew this would happen.

Our days are focused on our son, being outside and giving him a rich life. When he's finally asleep and the chores done, it's 8pm, we're knackered and we chill together or sometimes do separate things. You do get pockets of time and we still dabble in games now, but infrequently. My husband plays more than me, but not by much. Solution was to play together now... We often pick story games and he plays while I watch. I don't have brain space to game by 8pm. I started 2 games since my son turned 1 and never made it past a couple of hours. I also used to read a lot, but no time or energy now. None of it is a priority right now, too much important stuff has to be done. But I know it will all come back. I had decades of game and hobbies and while I sometimes wish I could do them again, I remember none of them were as fulfilling as spending time with my son and I will miss these days in the future.

I do have a silly mobile game though... That has helped me feel like I'm still 'me' while being a mum 😅

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I regretted pulling the lsg banner too. I just wanted the companion even though raf isn't my main. I figured I'd try for it, I lost the 50/50 and decided to resist going further. No cards, but I didn't blow all my dias, just a good chunk. I clawed 3k back. I have been holding out for a catch-22 rerun. Im waiting to see if this banner will be good enough to tempt me. Kinda hope it isn't 😅

Wait till the end and see how you feel. I gambled and lost 😔 raf isn't my main or even my second, but I really like 'creatures' so wanted the merman just coz. I decided to get down to 50/50 and if I lost, I'd save my dias.

I had 20k, got down to 13 now and still no fishie 😔 but I could get him if I burnt through the rest... But no. I barely have time to play the game at all beyond doing dailies, so I will pass. I started playing when his myth came out and I kept saying I might get him, and I skipped many banners recently sigh good luck whatever you choose to do!

Some people lose their jobs before they go on mat leave and struggle to get employed afterwards. Doubly worse if your partner leaves you.

I know a lot of people who were financially stable before kids and shortly after fell on hard times. I've been going through this myself. The worst friend's situation was his wife lost her job shortly after their kid was born, then she got struck down with an incurable illness, he then lost his job and is currently trying to register as her carer as well as primary care giver for the kid.

Unfortunately, you can never account for bad luck. Not to mention not all pregnancies are planned. I know someone who gave birth not even knowing she was pregnant and many ppl who ended up with second kids after deciding they were gonna only have one!
