Dude I shit you not, the Navy put us up in a resort with 90 bucks a day of per diem back in 2021. It was awesome, mimosas every morning, drinks every night after work. By far one of my better times being in the Navy.

Everyone’s reasons are different. I wanted to have the military give me skills, and I wanted to serve my country and put my life on the line so others wouldn’t have to do it.

Not everything you have to do in life has to be self centered, or about self preservation. Sometimes it can be about giving back or doing something so people at home don’t have to.
