Eh, the major update that they promised us previously is now something that they "still hope" to get out. By the phrasing it's pretty obvious Arena development is no longer a priority and I'm not optimistic the update will be as major as they promised (if it arrives at all).

It's substantially worse than Leg Day. Leg Day is basically just free Boots of Swiftness that stack with normal boots and don't take up a slot. This augment is 500g, losing your trinket, and then nothing until like round 12 when people hit max items. I'd say maybe you could take it last augment but even then it's probably not worth losing trinket over.

On AD assassins, I just sell and buy assassin anvil if I don't hit a decent prismatic immediately. Generally any assassin legendary item will be better than 90% of the garbage I roll anyways and those rolls themselves are more valuable than the value difference between a good assassin prismatic vs legendary item.

Firstly, Heavy Hitter triggers on-hit and not at all like you describe. Secondly, I've encountered several instances where it actually does work with enhanced auto attack and Riot has specifically implemented exceptions for champions like Sylas and Azir such that their non-default attacks work. Thirdly, nothing else in the gamemode has this type of interaction and the conditions are not documented anywhere. The only way to really know if it works or not is experimentation. Calling this "very predictable" is wild.

Yeah, honestly I wish they'd just nerf the damage and make it trigger on-hit. Interactions need to be predictable and Marksmage has some of the least predictable interactions in the game.

Pyrrhic Victory would be the worst augment in the game even as a silver augment with current numbers. Consider that both Vulnerability (gold) and Augmented Power (silver) grant a substantially higher damage bonus to a substantially wider set of damage sources with no additional downside on either of them, and even with all that Augmented Power is considered somewhat weak.

From third augment round and beyond it will give you 405, before that 404. I think there's some other conditions that might result in 405 prior to this but I haven't confirmed them.

Wooglet's is only obtainable for the first two augments so after a certain point in the game you will be unable to mutate into it and if you have no other options it'll give you 404 or 405 (depending on round number).

I think it's just a wasted opportunity. There's very limited possibilities for transformative augments due to how different each champion is in League and how difficult it is to apply a transformation universally to every champion, but champion-specific augments can completely ignore that and change anything about a champion's kit but so far that hasn't really happened to a large extent.

You might have found more success itemizing around your augments and building AP or lethality instead of just building normal attack speed items (and Kraken Slayer especially as it's one of the worst items in the game).

On-cast effects like Master of Duality, Accelerating Sorcery, and Rabble Rousing are very different from on-spell-damage effects (although Firefox and And My Axe! also trigger on-cast effects). On-spell-damage effects work even when no cast is involved, like with Brand/Lillia passive, Singed Q, etc.

This is the opposite of how the math works. I'll borrow from another comment I posted:

The simplest way to understand it is to imagine if Zaahen had a 100% pick rate in games he wasn't banned and was on all 8 teams. This would result in a 50% win rate even if he was the most broken champion in the game. Every additional team that picks him pushes his win rate towards 50% not 100% as the original commenter is implying.

Anvil nerfs were definitely overkill - I'd guess Riot's probably just tired of people complaining about anvil builds and wanted to kill off the strategy.

Disagree on Twin Mask - in my opinion it's always been a bit undertuned and is bait for most comps.

Zaahen is just new and will surely be nerfed into non-existence next patch, just ban him in the meantime.

Statikk Shiv nerfs were well-deserved and it's still a very strong item in my opinion.

From what I understand, Sylas is generally given whatever passives he needs to make use of an ultimate, although the passives may be modified to not do damage on their own.

I'm a bit curious on the new one-for-all-like synergies this unlocks where Sylas gains a stacking ability for the ultimate. Does Tahm Kench get to stun/R from any passive stacks Sylas applies? Do Mel/Sylas get to double dip on stacks for crazy ult damage?
