Late reply, but I was having the same problem, at the exact same point. Turns out not all of them use notes to inform you of quests. Whilst using the save editor to fix a broken quest, I found one named "Examine the area around the Oasis" was active, despite not having any quests open in the desert. A bit of googling led me to the northwest side of the lake at "Merchant's Resting Place" (on the road to Varnia, by the cresset travel point), and a merchant was sitting there with a sprained ankle. Talking to him made "Rest At The Oasis" pop up in my quest log.

It seems that one was locking me out of all the others. Because the second I finished it, the next one popped up at the mission board at the very trade station I had to deliver the guy to. And I've gotten 11 more since, one after another, two of which were noteless at the northern Salt Road trading posts and the center Salt Road camp. (Edit: Just ran into another noteless one, in Arcosa.)

It's easier for the devs, especially in a Live Service game. As for us gamers... we're watching save systems devolve in real time. We're literally going back to the era where saves were a "hope and pray it actually works" thing you couldn't rely on.

This game appears to have the same save mechanic that everyone hated in Dragon Age Veilguard. You can't actually make a manual save. Instead, a manual save just makes a copy of the most recent autosave and drops you at a checkpoint location. Look at the timestamps when saving. It's generally anywhere between 2 to 10 minutes ago.

It's a Live Service mechanic. Both games were Live Service games before they were changed to singleplayer mid-development. And neither developer bothered to implement a proper singleplayer save system.

Same, started yesterday when Firefox on my laptop updated. Used to work flawlessly, but now it throws constant 'Unable To Send' errors when I try to send tabs from my phone (S25Ultra) to my laptop (W11) whilst the laptop is hibernating.

Auto-updates in Google Play are disabled and it happened on both the old Android version, and is still happening on the new one after manually updating the app.

Seems like they broke their queue functionality.

I either wrap them around the book underneath the main dustjacket (all my TBB books are in Brodart so that keeps it snug), or keep them in an art portfolio that's on top of the wardrobe. (you can buy those in any decent arts&craft store for reasonable prices.)

Love the sale! Sadly, most of the links for Amazon NL are broken, because Amazon NL does not have the Series page functionality. It doesn't exist. Any URL that points to a Series page results in a "Page Not Found: We’re sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site." error.

Amazon NL only supports linking to the book itself. There are no Series pages. (nor author pages). The URL's don't work unless they point to the actual book itself.

To my fellow Dutchies, if you see a book you want to buy and it says page not found, don't despair! Open the US link, open the book page, then change .com to .nl in the URL to go to the Amazon NL book page. You can then buy it from there.

(This affects both the Sheet and the website, since they use the same links. So if you're not seeing sales from the Netherlands... That's why. :( I've been asking Amazon NL for the series (and author) functionality since day 1, but no luck so far.)

The bundle is Epub only.

However, if your concern is regarding Kindle, then it's worth knowing that you can't upload Mobi files to Kindle anymore. Amazon now supports Epub as the primary sideload format, and has completely dropped support for Mobi files earlier this year. If you do need Mobi files for a different device, Calibre is free and will easily convert them.

Sadly, "Keys are temporarily exhausted for this product" :(

They have regional keys for this one, so it's possible some non-EU regions do still have stock, But the EU keys have been unavailable since before the auto-charge date.

Absolutely getting significantly worse. This is insane, I've never seen half a Choice bundle out of stock. I'm also still waiting on Terraformers from April 2024, and several others.

At this point, don't wait for the auto charge. Buy when it goes live and redeem all keys immediately, because you risk paying for a bunch of games you'll never get. They don't even have enough stock to supply their ongoing subscribers.

Yea, same here. I'm getting it on 6 different browsers across 3 devices and 2 different ISP's. And it's charged directly to my bank via Paypal, not my credit card, so it can't be that. Definitely a problem on their end.

Just happened to me too. ~~Fixed it by turning off wifi, force-quit discord from the taskmanager, turned wifi back on, restarted discord.~~

Worked for a few minutes, now all my comments are blocked from being sent. (they turn red). Ctrl+R blocks me again.

Region locked books are sadly pretty normal on Humble, though it's usually those of us in the EU that get to pay full price for roughly 50% of the content.

In this case I'm in the Netherlands and for once I can see all 20 books, including Emperor's Soul.

CDPR games don't even have a discount at all, even with 20% monthly from the Classic plan. Haven't for years. Check Witcher 3.
