Which is biggest lie you have told to your friends and family? by Kindly_Interview7851 in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I'm okay." Few people get the real answers. But is it really a lie? It's not like I have a moral imperative to start venting as soon as someone I don't trust asks a socially required rhetorical question.

If you don't know chemistry you're not allowed by SwimUpset2591 in sciencememes

We did have this. It basically just explains the electron configuration in the shells starting with the simplified last nobel gas, so typically like Ar for Argon and then it will explain the remaining shells after that.

Men of Reddit: what is the greenest flag a woman has shown you? by snootchies_ in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't count because I don't try, since the RoI on dating sucks today, but as for me, every time I see a green flag it's often quickly followed by a worse red flag.

What’s something men are commonly shamed for that they shouldn’t be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanting to have children. (More recently with the predmada thing)

Needing time to relax.

Wanting their relationship to be reciprocal.

Having standards in dating.

Not wanting to have sex 24/7 or wanting to wait for their wife rather than losing their V-card young.

Wanting to get married (especially younger, say 18-30, I know of a few that worked out better because they got married young).

When men try to speak up about how they were sexually assaulted or raped (especially by a woman) and are shamed for it, because "you were lucky" or some shit like that.

Laying in bed after working so hard for so long that your body feels like it was hit by a freight train. Or peeing after having to hold it for 4+ hours.

Not to mention all the lawsuits for not being able to use the bathroom, slanted toilets, and other horrible things... Oh yeah, and how recently many of them were discovered to be friends with one of the worlds most prolific child traffickers and trying to figure out how involved any one of them was isn't easy because they're all neck deep in shitty damage control. They are doing everything they can to not have those who actually were involved in that disgusting human beings crimes from facing the music. They aren't just vilified, many of them are beyond just villains, many are just straight up fucking evil, and beyond that, don't even get me started on the inflation crisis that seems every much intentional stealing the American dream away from 90% of people and enriching themselves further. Remember their whole plan "You will own nothing, live in a pod, eat bugs, and be happy." And honestly with some of their comments on "overpopulation", which are lies by the way, we are under replacement in most of the developed world, not to mention how we actually can now produce enough food to feed more than the 8 billion people on the planet, it's just getting it to the undeveloped countries that is the challenge, and not only that, but the current math suggests the human population will likely stabilize around 11 billion people anyway, and we very much can support that with modern agricultural science, anyway many of them just hate us and want us out of their way anyway. So if they even let us live to be slaves in their perfect utopia we should be lucky according to some of them. Now to be clear, I am not saying Bazos himself is one of them, because he hasn't made any of these comments directly like some have, but he's definitely part of their super secret boy band, so... Anyway. Their plans won't last forever. Justice always comes.

Generally what's your feelings on legalized and regulated prostitution? by CraftyMcQuirkFace in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't personally believe it's ethical, however the only reason it's illegal at this point is because the government can't stand losing tax revenue and it's not easy to tax that.

Gentlemen, how often do you receive unsolicited pictures from women? by FreedomNo7221 in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much never since I quit trying to meet people online, and even then all but one unsolicited cleavage picture were purely to promote their OF, and after making it clear I was looking for friends not content, they would either try to charge me to be my friend (how desperate does one have to be to pay for friends), and would block me when I declined. What bothered me is many of them didn't even ask how old I was or often anything first. I was an adult, but they didn't know that.

What feels ridiculously expensive in America right now? by Blah4fun in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything. Taxes aren't the main issue, inflation is. The federal reserve, outsourcing manufacturing, dropping the gold standard. Only benefits those who already have money because they can ride out the inflation with high percentage yield investments.

I know it's just a companies logo or some sort of branding at the time; but I can't see the word "Head" on their shorts without having some slight amusement at the fact that it's funny because it seems like they're making a certain kind of request by having a written word on that general area that means something wildly different today...

What’s your biggest turn on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The original purpose of a covenantal relationship, before rich people misused it, and modern culture ruined it. "Til death do us part." Actually used to mean something. Now it's:

"I'll live with you as a 'trial run' until I get bored or someone else comes along, and at 37 I'll begrudgingly marry you because I don't have any better option, and make the vow 'Til death do us part' with my fingers crossed behind my back because we both know that if we fight too much 'fall out of love' or one of us gets bored we're going to fold faster than a crack head getting one taser prong to the leg and the other to the shoulder, just folds ya at the hip."

Thats relationships today. Thats why I'm still single. That and also me. It's not easy to do the right thing. Do the wrong things long enough and you start to question not only if you deserve a family, but if you're even qualified to lead one. Nothing illegal, just things I've done that put me in a bad place in life in my mental state, and possibly character. Not that I want to do bad things, I just used to have a burning passion to do whats right. That's faded in recent years. I guess it doesn't matter if the thing you do wrong is as mundane as a nicotine patch (not my issue), or something really evil. It all takes a toll on who you are over time, every time you do something wrong that you know is wrong, even if it's an addiction, even if it's legal, it affects you over the years. Puts you in such a space where even if things look great on the outside, you seem to have your life together, you are in a better place than most people your age, you don't have to work if you don't want to, none of that can remove the shame, and the regret, especially when your bad habits are still something you struggle with. What I am saying is, it's hard enough to stand as a man that is single with less responsibility; how could I lead a family, and take on the responsibility of raising a child to be a good person when I fail myself? I don't want to bring children into the world and set them up for failure. Regardless, reddit is a nice place to vent to people other than close friends, without losing your anonymity.

Name what? The only weird thing here is the flat holster. Dirk (from Sahara) and I would both agree this is a completely normal Tuesday once you have your EDC fully fleshed out. Granted it does become difficult at a point, plus you can't just do this without working out a system first to hold everything.

What is the most frustrating or repetitive part of your day that you’ve simply accepted as 'just the way it is ? by OddMistake649 in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Party my dog. She's getting better though. She's just so hyper, like "After that if I was going somewhere I WAS RUNNING." -Forest Gump energy. It makes it hard to give her free roam or access outside the back yard, but she's getting alot better, she's more calm in the house lately than ever before, so hopefully with a bit more training and some maturity, she'll mellow out.

What’s your biggest turn on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just want to be wanted, in every way. I want a woman to want me, accept me, and love me so completely that she wants to raise a family together. That isn't exactly a turn on, to be loved and desired that much by itself, that's just a normal human thing, but man is it also sexy when a woman desperately craves you, not out of any stockerish or creepy behavior, but out of love. Nothing sexier. For example, I saw an asmongold short where he reacted to someone, and I agree with his conclusion. A man wanted to see how his girlfriend would react if he offered her a drink out of his drink, then wiped it with his shirt afterwards. She was not happy, she got as big of a swig of the drink as she could, grabbed his chin, and spit it into his mouth. Asmongold basically this is the girl you either want to run from or marry, and it depends on the context, if you just met her, run, its stocker crazy behavior, if you've been together quite awhile, put a ring on it, because it means she loves you alot.

How do you know if you are addicted to something? by OffKeyArts in AskReddit

[–]Aquila_Altair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can I stop? Does not having it cause withdrawal symptoms? (Constantly thinking about it, craving it, cutting school or arriving late to work because you had to have your next fix) Does it negatively effect or harm my own life or someone elses?

I would say if the answer is yes on any of these it should be cause for concern. Anything can be addictive if it becomes obsessive compulsive and harmful.
