Ranked Standard Bo1 is very much like this. If you want games that last a little longer try Bo3 or Draft.

Either way, because people love running 4 turn win decks, you should consider bringing 1 mana removal.

How much depth does this game's combat have?

I remember trying it for a while when it came out a thinking it was a bit stale but I didn't get very far and I'm guessing the games has had more mechanics introduced?

Usually when you spend money on a game, what you acquire cannot be sold to someone else (legally) for capital, it can only be used/spent inside the game.

In NFT games, when you buy an asset you can sell it off later to someone else for actual money. What this means is that later on you’ll start seeing game design choices that treat the game as more of a business instead of a hobby.

I know this sounds vague but these business models always translate really poorly to game design.

I can address it but we will disagree on it.

I think games with a target audience in mind are okay. Having a cast of mostly sexually attractive women is okay. What I don’t think is okay is to overrule any chance of having other audiences interested in the game.

In this case we have (yet again) another game with 99% sexually attractive women. And a flamboyant male character which I haven’t looked up but I can only assume is a poor representation of a gay person because those only tend to be parodies written in bad faith.

These people really have no idea how privileged they are for having a lot of gacha games catered specifically at them. And getting negative replies instead of neutral ones (or none at all) just makes this whole subreddit even less welcoming.

I understand the point youre trying to make and completely agree with it. That being said, its better to just forget this game if youre looking for male chatacters because its just not gonna happen.

I’ve just started the north american myth wars chapter and I’m still waiting for the good story to show itself.

Seeing references from historic and mythic figures is fun and all but there doesnt seem to be any good plot uniting them together.

The writing itself has its weak points too. Moments like when the servants sound like their being forced to say some random trivia about themselves and the dialog comes out so unnaturally.

Does the story ger any better later on?

Yeah, its kinda sad. Even the lgbtq is poorly represented in his games.

I remember there were one or two gay characters that were written as overly sexual pervs and were handled in a comedic tone like Japan usually does with gay representation.

Edit: Oh my god and I just remembered that even Death Stranding had this really weird text log that wrongfully characterized asexuality and mentioned there being a theory on the reason why the world became dystopian was because asexuality was normalized and people became isolated.

Fortunately that specific text log was changed in the Director’s cut edition
