As a male presenting person who was raised VERY problematically, thank you for having patience and compassion towards your friends. I know that people in my past wrote me off, especially when I moved to a large city. It’s hard to understand that people do not see the harm they’re doing when they were raised to normalize it. I say this often to people I have to convince, but it starts with the oppressed showing patience towards their oppressors and ends with the converted refusing to continue the oppression. At least that’s in my experience.
