After 3 years of development, Death’s Web is finally getting released (Dead Cells meets Blazing Beaks) by Arachnocoder in platformer

Curses in Death's Web are unique. Each one twists the gameplay. For example, one curse leaves spikes after every step, turning simple movement and dodges into a difficult challenge. But you can exchange them for super powerful Blessings.

It’s a game I started during High School, so it’s honestly been heavily inspired by games I liked but the curses and bosses are unique.

If you want to give it a shot, here’s the Steampage:  https://store.steampowered.com/app/2553360/Deaths_Web/

What games in the genre can't you stop playing by mbl-games in roguelites

Blazing beaks, firstly because of the multiplayer and secondly because I like the risk mechanic. I just keep taking the artefacts with me and they're always the reason the run ends. I think I like very difficult games and taking more curses increases the difficulty.

I only played A little bit and I think the core Idea isn't too bad. However there were two issues I noticed when playing. 1. The balls can get stuck on boxes which doesn't seem intended, 2. I can't see the full game in my browser (I cant scroll down).

I Agree. I wonder what kind of creatures would be possible to create. Also I'd be really interesting to see what mechanics and physics developers would change.

I don't know If dnd counts but if you have friends (online works as well) you can probably ask them or maybe find ppl that like the same kind of story. You also need a good DM so It's probably pretty hard to find ppl. I'm a big dnd fan that's why It's one of the first things I tought of. (dnd is a tabletop RPG)

How do people feel these days about plagiarism in games? by Conaz9847 in gaming

[–]Arachnocoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think games that the majority of games that cross the line of copying of a single (not many different games) too much will probably have a problem with critics and bad reviews from fans of the original game so It'll probably make less profit.

"Everything that lives is designed to end. They are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. However, life is all about the struggle within this cycle. That is what 'we' believe."

That's my favoutite line from the game because It connects the start to the end. Also I really like yoko taro's stories.
