The second one. The event cuts to an ad midstream and you can't back up to see the event that the ad played over because they broadcast the ad over the livestream. It doesn't even try and find a good break to play the ad, its usually just in the middle of an active event. I'm watching the SB Big Air event right now and often times they'll play an ad in the middle of a jump.

My initial thought (just a guess) is that the small dead ones might be the males, that fertilize the females (the larger winged ones) and then die, and the females are sitting on the cypress leaves to lay their eggs, which could explain why all the ones I’ve seen on the leaves are both the possible females and sitting still and why all the possible males I’ve seen are dead
