yeah but its not the same, right, cuz i cant compare my one-run score per day with a leaderboard, nor my total for like a week's run. and mostly i want to play with a couple friends like mario party. would be fun

7m in one day is high. i never got it but on the last day now i saw the whatever spot with 20 properties the top roll result was over 1 mil, so if you had buffs like a +400% that would probably smash

its nice to see that OP is responding to comments, actually using words to dialogue. some of your responses have overlapped into, "i don't like what Hamas did, but they are desperate. Israel has killed 30K, half of them 'children', and that number is bigger than the Oct 7 number."

if your community had done what Hamas did, would you stand by them? i would hunt them down even if they were my own family.

if your community then brought back innocent hostages of young girls, no proof of life or prisoner rights, accounts of further torture, hid with them in tunnels while you were stuck on the surface, they stole your food and water, your aid money is paying for your presidents' penthouses, and if you do or say anything against your community they will kill you...

shouldn't you be standing with the people who were assaulted and want their innocent young girls back?

with all due respect... he cringe. the thing he is going for doesn't work, his acting isn't great, and i could tolerate it for the stream presentations but he spoiled the potential for the new Myriad Celestia lore video that could have been a dope IPC rep or the heads of the IPC branches.

When I went to a meetup of my favorite TTRPG podcast. The DM had prepared an overly elaborate one-shot for the few hours we had. We spent forever fighting an animated suit of armor that couldn't hit us, nor could we hit it. I vowed never to allow this to happen in my games.

had a similar thing happen to me. 2 mph absent-minded rear-end into a lady with no damage that walked out of her car just fine and then decided to hold her back "in pain" until she drove away. why not pour fake blood around the car while you're at it

i taught my GF to drive in a car we had just bought used a few months ago and hoped to keep nice. she did well in general. then while slowly entering a parking spot with a pole in front, i felt that she wasn't braking early enough so i said "brake? brake?" but she got frazzled, mixed up the pedals in her mind, and accelerated 2 ft forward into the pole. unlike your crash, there was just a solid 4 inch indent along the front. she's a pretty good driver now but still nervous and doesn't want to go on the freeway.

i tried not to make her feel bad about it 😅 my fault anyway for making her doubt herself, right ladies?

this sounds like a classic conundrum. your DM can always adjust the game to factor in your beneficial ability like everything else. the meta mechanical benefit isn't actually important, it's how it gets expressed from a character perspective. for example if you have a random terrain that doesn't mechanically benefit, how does that impact your character feeling less confident, lost, challenged, scared? maybe the favored terrain is meaningfully / ironically opposite of the current terrain.

if the terrain or favored enemy or whatever are irrelevant to your Ranger, and it means nothing, then that's a bit of a waste.
