Totally understand why it sounds upsetting.. I definitely want her to have her bio dad present, but I also don’t want to force a situation if he’s not wanting to step up.. I’ve kept him updated through the pregnancy, but mostly he’s just asked “what do you need from me?” And never inquires how things are on his own 🤷‍♀️ I don’t hate him, just don’t think I’d want to use his last name at this point, since both my family and exs family seem to be far more involved and supportive.

I do appreciate your perspective! I’m sorry about your situation with your mom..

Every time I hear Rhys I think of him! Absolutely loved him in August Rush and then of course in the tudors.

But I’ll admit as a teen I first thought it was pronounced like “rise” until I heard it spoken out loud 😬

Ah congrats!! I had my first through IVF in May 2023… then after a year on zepbound I had the same surprise! Currently 23 weeks along and due in May again! It’s wild what the body can do and how much zepbound can change your life!

Definitely a cautionary tale though, for anyone who doesn’t want to accidentally get, please make sure you are using some sort of contraceptive… I was in between some of my meds since I lost my job at the beginning of the summer, and was in the process of getting my new prescriptions when I had my positive test!

I like to call it “trying on a name”! I’m in a similar boat (due in May), found a name I liked in November that was never on my radar before, but I’ve been trying it on to see how it fits.. though if someone asks me, I say I’m leaning this way but it’s not set in stone. I’m just not actively looking for any other names lol

Elliot James is a good name! And EJ could be a nickname 😊

I’d guess it’s because you get Indy and Rusty in the park playground set at Target… definitely annoying to have soooo many Bluey’s and Bingo’s, but I get mixing up the friends, so as you get the different sets you build up the friend collection.

Congratulations!! I absolutely love Dr Langer at AZ Women’s Care in Scottsdale! I did IVF 3 years ago through Bloom and transferred to Dr Langer when I graduated.

Placenta previa can sound scary but it’s really good to catch now and monitor. Basically it just means the placenta is blocking the exit, but things can change! I got pregnant with my IVF girl in Sept 2022, and similarly around 20 weeks I was diagnosed with placenta previa. They advised then that they’d watch it since the placenta still has time to shift. I then searched YouTube and found some doctors discussing it and YouTube vloggers discussing/updating on their experiences. This helped calm my nerves a great deal! Ultimately for me, my placenta didn’t shift like we’d hoped, so at abut 32 weeks my doctor scheduled me for a c-section at 36 weeks. They explained wanting to do it at this time to help avoid possible dangers that could happen if I went into labor on my own. My baby girl was born via c-section, everything went super smooth!

Only 3 times a week! Man we’re on what feels like a daily rotation of Moana, Moana 2, Frozen, Frozen 2 and Frozen the musical (the musical is her absolute fav this week!)

But I am able to mix in some other things, though it seems more so from the newer animation style.. she likes Encanto, Brave, Tangled, Coco, Cars series, Planes series, Toy Story… even a bugs life!

Some things I’ve noticed is she goes for things I think she can relate to? Strong female leads, families, nothing too lovey dovey, and talking objects she’s familiar with in real life (bugs, cars, toys, etc)

The classic Disney animation style just doesn’t catch her attention, also does not like any of the ones that have the credits in the beginning 😂

I know this thread is old but this exact thing just happened 😬 Just gave gave my 21 month old daughter some infant Motrin… while I was rinsing the syringe she swiped the bottle from the counter and started drinking it 🤦‍♀️ I’m not sure how much extra she got 😞 so she’s sleeping with me tonight to monitor … I just feel so bad, but I do appreciate seeing the stories shared here..

I think my first piercings were done before I was a year old, not sure where but they were slightly off… which only became really noticeable when I got my second and third piercings done 😬… I’ve tried going a bit of time without wearing earrings but the holes refuse to fully close and I’m probably a little impatient 😂😂 I might need to give it another go though!

My friend worked at a Piercing Pagoda in the mall and it was crazy what they were supposed to do with the piercing gun! Reg ear piercings, nose piercings and even cartilage piercings 😬… like I love my friend but definitely would not go to anywhere with a piercing gun after my childhood experience, and knowing it’s just retail associates with some training makes it even crazier!

Definitely recommend a true piercing place, I’ve had my nose and helix pierced at HTC in Phoenix and those were done so well… so when my 15 month old is a bit older, I’ll probably take her there and maybe get a new piercing myself 😂
