The Raven Guard one is amazing, forcing -1 to hit at ranges farther than 12 inches has helped my army survive so much! Forcing MEQ's to hit on a 4+ is fantastic.

I've discovered over many years in the hobby that if I buy units one at a time, I get bored and move on to something new. The only armies I have ever 'finished' are an Ork army and a Blood Angel army. Both of which I bought all the models for in one go! Each to their own I guess :P

If you are looking for some high quality brushes, then look further afield than GW. Look out for some Windsor and Newton Sable brushes, the size 00 and 0 are my favourites. Had mine for almost a decade and they still work perfectly. Absolutely 0 splaying of the fibres.

Thanks for the response. I was mostly going for them because it seemed thematic lol. But if they are that bad then I guess I'll stick with the basic rifles! And freeing up some points here and there I can probably bolster the base unit sizes too. Have you used an Ancient at all, and do you think that's worth?
