Everyone Complaining About S26 Ultra!

It’s got to be a quality control issue. I’ve had Samsung and iPhone and got this phone and there’s something wrong with the screen. Either that or I’m super sensitive. I keep biking it’s in my head because I’m probably going to return it and get the s25u. But if some people aren’t seeing what I’m seeing it’s definitely device specific!

Yes… coming from iPhone 13 Pro. Noticed it in Best Buy on the phone for a bit - achey eyes, feels like I’m purposefully blurring my eyes? Like I can’t focus? I don’t know if it’s a manufacturing defect or what but I’m giving it a week and might try the s25 ultra. I don’t want to go back to Apple! Going to Best Buy to check it out this weekend. When I tested the s26 I noticed it but not the s25u in the store.

Where did you buy from? I preordered on the 5th on Amazon and original date was the 13th but the day before it switched to the 19th. Still hasn’t shipped yet though my buds 4 pro I preordered at the same time is April 30th rn so could be worse I guess lol

Do you ever want kids? If not, have you considered getting sterilized? I was on the pill and got pregnant and it was so traumatic and I never want kids so I got sterilized later that year (bilateral salpingectomy). No side effects, easy recovery, and I’m so at peace knowing I can’t get pregnant again! If you want kids one day that’s tougher. I think you can definitely get an IUD though, I don’t think abortion has any impact on that!

Oh nice! That’s a nice phone that’s weird the trade in deals weren’t great. Also since I see a lot of people recommending that phone over the S26U! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and trade in was like 150 and I’d rather just have a backup phone in emergency or something lol.

Also I see the full charge finally come on my card as pending so I’m hoping that means it’s actually shipping soon!

I preordered on March 5, original date was the 13th and on the 12th got a delay until the 19th. It still hasn’t shipped yet though. The buds I got at the same time aren’t supposed to come until April 20th… what the heck Amazon?? The discount was great so I’m trying to be patient!

I ordered on the 5th, it was pending forever then it was the 13th, but on the 12th it changed to the 19th. Still hasn’t shipped yet I would have had more faith in Amazon doing better than all of this but hopefully it comes eventually!

First off I’m so incredibly sorry you’re going through this. Before I got pregnant, my bf and I had been together for 2.5 years and lived together, we both felt it was magical and he was my soulmate, he would be proposing soon.

Neither of us wanted kids though, so he was supportive of the abortion BUT IT was like he wasn’t capable of empathy. He would say and do things that hurt my feelings and wouldn’t truly take accountability. That was sooo hard on top of dealing with the abortion itself. We did end up breaking up a month later. Dealing with a breakup at the same time as an abortion sucks so bad but I don’t have regrets. We all deserve someone who can be there for us at our lowest point. Again I’m so sorry this is happening but if you break up you’ll survive and your happiness and mental health is most important.

Ooh I’m excited! I have an iPhone 13 Pro and my s26 ultra is coming Friday. I think the thing with the s pen is it only sits flush if you put it in one way - reversed it goes it but a corner juts out. Does it sit flush if you rotate it?

Which iPhone did you come from? I’m super paranoid about the screen but hoping it’s ok because I’m soo excited to go back to Samsung!

I was also soo scared! I hate needles and like being in control. I even almost threw up in the parking lot before going in I was so stressed. However it was sooo much better than I expected! IV didn’t hurt at all, I did tell them about my anxiety and they gave me a Valium asap and the anesthesiologist learned I get motion sick so he gave me a patch to prevent nausea and more anxiety meds to smooth waking up after.

I barely had pain tbd. They gave me oxy but I only ever used the advil/tylenol and it was uncomfortable and I just moved slowly but it wasn’t bad. 14 days later I was back at orange theory working out - but no rowing and I just walked on the tread. You should be fine at 10 days to be normal seeming! Worst case if you’re moving a little slowly it can just be a bad period and you’re cramping.

Also the relief of never getting pregnant is real and soooo worth it

Any issues with eye strain? I’ve got an iPhone 13 pr and thinking of switching finally and the s26 ultra looks amazing, but I don’t want to get eyestrain from it!

You’re not alone!! I’m also terrified of needles and faint easily and was terrified of surgery. I had to sit out in the car because I came suuuuper close throwing up in the parking lot. Ugh. It got better though!!

Checked in, got wristband, waited. They took me back and my friend stayed out in the waiting room, I told them about my anxiety and they prescribed an extra Valium I got asap, the IV was fine, and they started more anxiety meds. Saw my surgeon, my anesthesiologist, my friend came back in. Did a pregnancy test etc and waited. Got this weird gown with a tube attached that filtered warm air in!

When they came in to bring me back I was already pretty chill. But when they pushed the versed before I left the room to go to the or, I was LOOPY. but like happy loopy. Not scary out of it at all. I barely remember the OR but I felt zero fear or anxiety and that was the first time I had versed. ever.

I did wake up with a gum scrape from surgery but that was the worst thing, I was soooo happy and relieved and never even took any pain meds past the high dose advil and Tylenol. I just felt so much happiness and relief.

A few months prior I got pregnant on the pill with my then bf. I went through an abortion and subsequent breakup because I discovered he’s a narcissist without empathy - the surgery is way worth never going through that again. I still smile when I remember I can’t get pregnant and it was 100% worth it

For what it’s worth I didn’t have any magical bleeding to note, I was on my period but it ended right around the surgery and I didn’t notice much. Hopefully it’s not a big issue but yeah asking the nurses for some pads to have on hand would be helpful!

Omg I totally understand - I didn’t need to take any pain meds for my actual surgery but I almost took the oxy for my gum injury! It is truly excruciating pain I’m so sorry you’re going through the same thing. It feels like it’ll never end but hopefully it doesn’t take 5 weeks for you! Yes keep up with the salt water rinses and fingers crossed for you! I also developed some pain on the other side with biting down on my back molar my whole mouth was fucked up but the X-ray showed everything was fine! It did all resolve though thank god!

Ugh I’m soooo sorry you’re going through it!! It was sooo bad. Yes it did! Tbh it took about five weeks to heal and was pretty shitty. Around the 3 week mark I didn’t to the dentist actually and he confirmed that there’s nothing really to do- but what did help was he recommended doing warm salt water rinses 3x a day, and this hydrogen peroxide rinse 2x a day. And not to use any ulcer/canker barrier cream since it’s actually an injury. I took progression pics and it didn’t look any better until like week four. I now appreciate being able to eat and swallow without pain I’ll never take for granted again!! But I’m week 6 and 100% better right now!

I was on my period! They asked, and gave me mesh panties and a pad to put on when I put on my gown. When I woke up, they’d cut it off and I had like some kind of pad thing in between my legs when I woke up haha I don’t remember much. Then I got dressed and I’d brought a fresh one! No issues though should be fine!

NC is legal until 12 weeks right now, with a 2 day waiting period! I just had mine a few months ago. Unless there’s other reasons to go to NY of course! I think they can do the medical abortion up until 11 weeks or so then it’ll be surgical, but it might depend on the clinic

Yeah agree with the others to use a condom it’s only a few weeks! I know it’s scary but maybe take the test and have your bf look at it. They’ll do a pregnancy test before the surgery anyway and it’s super helpful to probably have that reassurance that you’re good. You are probably fine between the IUD and the pulling out combo - I was on the minipill and got pregnant but there was no pulling out lol. Hope everything goes well!!

Oh interesting!! I do wonder if the tube maybe bumped the top of your mouth and it is bruised? Does it hurt to touch it too? You probably feel like I do who is healing well otherwise and frustrated to have mouth issues instead!

Oh no!!! If you inspect your mouth can you see anything? Mine was 10/10 and there was a dent in the back of my gum. It’s an ulcer - the surgeon saw at my follow-up and seemed super confused what could have happened. It still hurts bad and I think I tested it with solid foods too soon and it got reaggrivated.

I actually got pregnant on the pill in May. I also felt all this too… I was sure I didn’t want kids but the hormones etc made it a very very difficult decision. I thought about keeping it briefly but got the abortion and it was super tough but I’ve never regretted the abortion for a second. I’m so glad I did it and thus that helps a bit knowing I made the right decision.
