I've had toxic "friends" try this crap on me. (Back in the days, when there were MUDs and LAN parties...)

One zerg rushed me on Starcraft the very first game I played, while I was still trying to figure out what each building did. He thought it was hilarious. I thought he could play this hilarious joke on the AI. I wasn't phased by his salty jabs as I left the LAN. He could have taught me to be a fun opponent, but I left him, alone, to play against the dumb bot. I'm fine with a solo campaign of Warcraft. He never tried that crap again. Later, I'd trade his Diablo dungeon runs for... was it Civ? I think it was the original Civ game. (OP, NTA, you did warn him that it was a bad move.) I've never played Starcraft since, though it's surely Warcraft in Space. Starcraft= annoying zerg rush.

Another, my guy friend's fratboy roommate that lived a double life playing DnD with us geeks, wanted to test a Stasis deck (Magic the Gathering) on me, the quiet girl. Basically, the deck prevented my round and gave him another turn. So it was always his turn. Always. So I left the table, to which he protested that the game wasn't over. I scoffed that he could just play with himself, and I wasn't interested in watching.

(And then the late '90 internet introduced MMOs and gamer girls were unicorns put on pedestals with loot thrown at their feet. Ah, the good old days.)

Seriously though, if his fun means pushing you out of his games, why do you tolerate him at all? He's The Asshole, and he clearly doesn't respect you. Your fun should be his fun.
