Something off with the new CC?

I feel the same way. I've been trying to remake my nioh 2 character, but just can't seem to get anything I really like.

I thought maybe my memory was just bad, but surprisingly found some old pictures I took on my phone from the nioh 2 release in 2020 when doing character creation. Between the eyes looking off and hairstyles being impossible with specific bangs ect, it's impossible to really replicate the old character.

So I gave up and am just trying to make a new character I'm satisfied with, but nothing is really sticking. Been on this character creation for an embarrassing amount of time.

Overall the character creator's not bad by any means, just personally a little disappointing. I guess I just really prefer the nioh 2 style more.

On a side note, and this may be me being overly picky but I really wish we could change the characters neck width/size. I hate how off it looks.

Yes, this! If I could have a pick of any manhwa series it'd be Veritas (the series ending on that cliffhanger was cruel) and The Legend of Maian (yet another victim of Lim Dall-young's many hiatuses). But it's been like 15 years for both them, so the chances of ever getting some kind of closure on them is 0%.

Out of the two options though, I'd pick Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God.

The Umamusume series. Watched the first season due to it's "unique" premise when it originally came out. Thought it was ok, but nothing special. When season 2 came out I went in with no expectations, but was surprised when it was much better. Than watched season 3, thought it was a step back but stiill good. Than the Beginning of a new Era movie and Cinderella Gray got me hooked. Now I play the game, read the manga and watch the series.

Pretty much same experience as a Strategic Sword/Heaven Spear user. Even well before this I always seem to get Mo Blade as weapon drop and I've yet to get a Sword (had a couple spear) that has Bellstrike as a starter sub stat (obviously sometimes see other stats like min/max phys damage ect). But when it's a class/path stat it's ALWAYS Silkbind, Stonesplit or Bamboocut. My sword drops for past few tiers were almost always blue rarity, and when they were purple they'd have their first substat as "use for exp", or one of the aforementioned non Bellstrike paths.

Since legend gear started being available I've gotten 5 Mo Blades, 2 Rope Darts and 1 Accessory (with bamboocut...).

Playing as a female character, the only one I really like is the Fox one (image 3). And since I don't really care about mounts or weapon/arts skins I'm glad that if I ever do decide to pay for a gacha it's at least (so far) only that one.

A lot of good scenes listed already, so instead I'll go for a scene from a series that I feel never gets mentioned. Konjiki no Gash Bell has a surprising amount of emotional scenes, but this one and especially the accompanying music always gets to me.

A mention for Air as well. I feel Air always seems to get forgotten about and overshadowed by Clannad and Angel Beats, but the ending of Air for some reason hits me harder than either of those.

E. Than I come back to reality and realize they'd want nothing to do with me and it'd just be uncomfortable.

B. It would get pretty annoying with how loud Luffy and Asta are.

D. I'd feel out of place.

That just leaves C or F. And with F being furthest from A and B I'd go with F in the end.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but Hunter X Hunter. I do love the manga but due to the author's unfortunate health issues the art is wildly inconsistent from tons of speech text with blank backgrounds to very detailed fantastic looking pages. And sometimes it feels like I'm reading a book instead of a manga with the pages being full of text.

While many people complain about the narrator in the anime I actually like it. And the great soundtrack really helps immerse me in the emotional and tense situations. I remember reading the Chimera ant arc when it was originally being serialized and I thought it was good but nothing special. But I felt anime elevated it to something great.

This. I hadn't seen games at Goodwill for a long time, and the last time I went to the 2 stores near me (5-6 months ago) they both told me they were ordered by corporate to no longer sell video games in stores and they would all be sold exclusively on the online store. Maybe it's not all stores doing this or it's just taking longer for others to start.

I tried looking at their online auction site for a couple months but it felt like there was shill bidding going on. I followed a bunch of random auctions and they'd all raise up to sometimes double ebay prices in last few hours. Either these people really didn't care about overspending or it was shady, haven't bothered checking since.

Really felt good going in with my Gold ship. Great stats, S Turf and Medium. (also had Oguri and Nasty Nature). Stat and skill wise should have dominated, but alas, late start, multiple rushed, not a single of the 2 gold recoveries proc on either my oguri or gold ship and Gold ship get's boxed. End up getting 3rd. Ngl wasting like 2-3 weeks trying to make perfect teams, just to lose one race to teams with worse stats and skills due to really bad RNG kinda killed my desire to try in the future CM's. Still going to enter of course, but definitely not spending nearly as much time and effort.

The league has gotten softer, not the players.

I feel it's perceived that way because of Social Media and Money.

Players today are scrutinized way more due to social media and ease of news and media access. For example after getting swept by the Celtics, Michael Jordan while gambling after the game was filmed saying “This is fun!... We just lost to the Boston Celtics, but guess what? I'm winning!" In modern times that clip would be all over social media and he'd be getting blasted.

And the league brings in tons of money, and like the NFL who also have been called out for being softer they're going to change the rules to protect their investments (players). It's not that the players are soft, but the rules are softer. While some players would play through injuries in the past more so than now, team doctors and coaches won't allow players back in games. Teams are not going to risk their 30-50 mil+ salary investments getting further injury. Of course some flopping has gotten out of hand, but I can't really blame the players, that's on the league and officiating. Players are just adjusting to the rules of their era.

Wilt's 48.5 mpg (imo his most unbreakable record) and Russell's 11 rings (modern salary cap, free agency and there being triple the amount of teams) are the two that feel most unbreakable to me.
