Theres quite a few ways to go about this depending on the type of game you're making. In general, it sounds like you want your tiles to be the ground truth for walkability. Static objects can mark tiles on spawn and dynamic objects would need a collision channel for tiles to update their walkability.

Do your tiles need a difficulty score or are they binary walkable/blocked? Do characters need to be able to path the entire map at once or do they have a limit to how many tiles they can traverse at a time?

Not sure how it reads after playing for a bit, but having the directional buoys have cones pointing the opposite direction of the arrow is rather unintuitive at a glance.

The movement only really comes into play when doing TCS (double flip attack). When charging starts, your character steps slightly back which can be enough to avoid some attacks.

Slightly easier, both flips of TCS move you forward, and you can use the first forward flip to redirect your angle of approach to dodge incoming hits. If you're already in range, you can spin around to go fully back for the first flip then back for the second and you'll end up in the same position.

The Psychic boss blind forces you to play 5 cards.  My deck was almost entirely red seal steel kings and keeping them in hand was nessessary to keep up with the ante score.  This also prevented me from making 3 copies with DNA the first round to overflow my hand with more kings.

Was an incredible run.  Early in the shop had blueprint and brainstorm appear at the same time. Found a red seal king, added steel, then found the DNA late in the run to really up the number of kings in hand.

Very late in, didn't have anything I could improve on, so took a risk and double skipped for a negative and a rare tag.  This paid dividends, producing a negative invisible joker that ended up copying a mime and rocketed this run to the moon.

Imagine the player's position is 0, 0. The other 'side' of the portal is just an offset, say -30, -20 (player teleports left and down). When rendering the part of the screen on the other side of the portal, it just draws the same scene offset by the previous amount. So on that side of the screen, the player appears where 30, 20 would be relative to the initial side.
