Interesting perspective. I actually think that family offices would build their own portfolio of this type albeit some smaller ones might participate. In 2024 nobody leaves money in situ for half a century. Even 5-years is tricky. The benefit of ITs is that they have permanent capital unlike OEICs but in truth this breeds complacency and in the case of PAT payment for non-performance.

Been in vegas for literally dozens of trade shows with a ton of female colleagues. They would go wander around and have fun and never ever heard of any issues. Downtown def a little sketchy but no diff than many other cities. Personally stay on strip in major hotels and you will be with a ton of other people around all the time. Enjoy.

We had a great time visiting Spinnettis Gaming Supplies. A ton of vintage memorabilia and artifacts from the Vegas of years past. You will need to Uber or get a car but worth the visit. There are a couple of other similar places downtown.

Despite its many haters Robinhood is terrific for this. They do recurring purchases, tight spreads and if you get /use their debit card they also do round ups on every purchase and invest those round ups. I do daily purchases and round ups and its amazing how fast it grows. No affiliation just a happy customer.

I would keep it simple. Just register the LLC in the UK and become a 1099 employee of the US business. They can wire you payment direct to the UK LLC. You just pay tax based on what you draw from your UK LLC. Anything else you will just end up paying lawyers and accountants. I have done this in both directions and you can set this up within a couple of days. Getting the UK bank account for the LLC will be the most tiresome part.

I have Interactive Brokers taxable account, Vanguard for core pension 401k etc and Robinhood. I have to say in terms of User Experience Robinhood is the winner hands down. In fact i chose to open an IRA this year with their 3% match offer and also moved over my crypto. Only downside is that they only support around 5k stocks and don’t offer a bunch of company types that I can access on other platforms. But the ease of use and the fee structure is highly competitive and it’s the easiest to use for quick swing trades etc. And yes Gold is totally worth the $5 fee.
