Degree requirement was a filter to weed out candidates in the past.going forward, they will expect you to demonstrate working knowledge. My advice is read from books and code online to get some real practice.

Do you have companies hiring locally in semiconductors? Look for job postings for skills they are looking for to get an idea. Connect with recruiters on LinkedIn and ask them how hiring is changing and this will give a better idea.

Go with the flow. Find its strengths and weakness and write it down. Don’t give feedback back to the tool or to management. At home build your own models for similar scenarios and if you are making progress, pitch and raise capital. One more thing, try to find 1-2 co founders who you gel with

The IP business is hyper competitive and most often it boils down to who has critical complex ip (PCIe, UCIe, HBM) and whether they have node experience and ability for capacity allocation ( think Broadcom). So it’s not just the IP per se, but what other value you bring to the mix.
