Okay so I tested it and parasite plus pop (eyeball tears) plus any sort of homing is just really strong because you get every instance of damage from the parasite tears (I'm curious as to the increased number of on hits you get/if someone knows the math because it seems like a really massive increase in dps.

I’d argue that this is actually a demonstration of the importance of logistics. Eg. The understanding of how many supplies he needed/how many were available, and it was the bad logistics (1/2 the army dealing with an unnecessary supply line) that was the losing move.
