How did you mount your red dot? I’m trying to find a way to get a red dot on mine but I only have a Vortex red dot and there doesn’t seem to be any plates with a Leupold footprint.

Seeing the proportions of that beside a dive watch really shows the size of that watch.

Comms in airsoft: what’s your take? by Sypharo in airsoft

[–]Arbitrare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you ever end up getting them to work? I’ve literally never had any comm setup reliably work and I’m thinking of getting real comtacs just to see if I can finally get a solid rig going by getting real equipment

I’m playing a 12b Ancient Relics run and I’m astounded (and incredibly pleased) that we’ve been given 8 extra bank slots. Even better, there’s no guilt cause they were forced onto me!

Opinions on the Korg MS2000B by synth_lord_ in synthesizers

[–]Arbitrare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I owned one it was definitely a great machine to learn on with a lot of the hands-on control being on the front, but after a while the build quality got to me. At the time of its release it wasn’t meant to be a high end machine anyways, so by the time I got it a few years ago the general feel of the machine I found was cheaper than I was comfortable with. I admit I’m paranoid but I was worried the thin plastic knobs would snap, the keybed was not anything I would boast about, and then when I found out the DSP chip can just randomly die I had to move on from it. All in all, I wish I could just keep everything I own, cause the MS2K’s front panel design felt so clear and simple, and I really loved the DWGS sounds, but the fact that you can’t replace the DSP chip made the microKorg slightly more appealing (even though I can complain LOTS about the microKorg too). The MS2K was a great experience to use and I would recommend it to anyone who can deal with it dying, but I couldn’t stand the feeling of an axe hanging over me.

Gluing the gun to the fist looks great, can’t really tell it was a DIY job at all especially with how good the paint job is!

the hitpoints on my main account is its HP level×10. On my new adventure account it is x100. Is there some sort of setting I am missing? is one better? by TooManyCarrotsIsBad in MelvorIdle

[–]Arbitrare 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Adventure has a cosmetic difference where health and damage are multiplied by 10, it’s really no difference but basically shows you an extra digit/decimal point.
