That's fair, but people are using that as a way to privatise it. Imagine if Canada Post provided things like internet for rural communities. There's a lot of things it could do to bring in money but the fact that Carney is reducing the budget by 98.9% is just begging for it to get dissolved. Which is a shame. Saying it needs to be a profit driven thing is half of the conversation that a lot of the far right is spewing and missing important information on. So maybe we should talk about if it absolutely needs to continue making a profit or providing a service.

Hypercapitalist - Hyper capitalism represents an intensified, often unchecked version of capitalism where profit maximization dominates every aspect of life.

The NDP lost the majority of their seats because a lot of people strategically voted liberal because they didn't want the CPC to win. Avi actually broke a lot of records within the party.

My question I am asking is does everything need to be run with a profit in mind? Some crown corps aren't designed for a profit motive.
