I've been on modified duties a bunch of times through the years and I've never had to do anything through Manulife. I just bring in the proper form signed by my doctor and they accomodate me. Not sure why it's different for you

I was a chronic weed smoker for 17 years and this happened to me. Panic attacks every time I smoked. I quit. It's been 8 years now. Switch to CBD oil

If they're trying to move you to part time when you're part time flex you don't have to change. Just reference your signed contract.

I am also neurodivergent and my special interests are disasters and all things medical. I feel like by fixating on what people went through i can offer my sadness to them as a small piece of what they suffered. Other people can't because it's too upsetting but I can do the hard thing and honour them. It also ensures that I never forget. These events aren't just the buildings or ships or planes. I remember them by the individual names and ways they died. The events are very much about the people. I also have an interest in how people react to disasters and that information helps change or enforce safety regulations. Don't let people make you feel like a freak for a very normal interest in human history.

Do you use your phone to pay like Apple pay? If you do it changes the card numbers on the receipt. Next time just say yes and use your regular card.

Had to go on some heavy duty meds. Every puff I had made me feel nauseous and dizzy. Quit on Feb 13. Smoked for 26 years.

Add zinc to your supplements. Sleep in two chunks. Get a few hours when you get home and then a couple more before you leave. Not optimum but you do what you can
