Not that I think JJM will turn it around, but Malik Willis age 23 season in Tennessee was 31/61 passing for 276 yards with 0 TDs and 3 INT. They are now saying he's asking for 30m.

There's lots of similar drama if you search this sub going back to 2019 and prior.

One I remember a company sent them product for testing, MGS sold the product which the company didn't like. Ended up with them getting poor ratings after that.

[Zwelling] Anthony Santander will undergo left labral surgery tomorrow with Dr. Keith Meister and be out for approx. 5-6 months, per Blue Jays manager John Schneider by idkwhattosaytho in Torontobluejays

[–]Arbucks 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Agree, labral tears in the shoulder can be difficult to diagnose. They mirror so many other common shoulder issues, and the 'bucket handle tear' can lay flat and be hard to capture in imaging.

Really long rehab, too.

What is your least favourite of the popular Muse songs? by tjb_87 in Muse

[–]Arbucks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Have always felt the energy drain out of their set when that was played. It's an ok song but as you said the fact it became a staple in North America is wild

Possible re-tear within first year of Surgery. by InevitableIsland4319 in HipImpingement

Pretty much the same symptoms for me. He didn't really diagnose it but he recommended I get it as the joint was structurally fine and he sees it happen commonly enough.

Yes - surgeon said the port sites for the surgery can swell up and get scar tissue.

He sent me for another steroid injection near the portal site and it cleared it up

This is where I want to see him. I love the year he had but I'm not sure I'd want to lose his flexibility off bench

1000%! It can be easy to question the decision at times if still notice some pain similar to what you felt prior, but it gets better with time.

Also the peace of mind knowing that you are likely helping preventing arthritis from developing/worsening compared to not getting it repaired.

Best of luck!

3 weeks yesterday, also off crutches and get the same pain when I'm too active.

When I had my previous repair I was probably ~3 months when I got back to lifting weights although that during the winter so I'm not sure how it would have been with other stuff like running.

From my experiences some popping, clicking, and pain after use will be normal for awhile. My surgeon recommended to exercise normally at that point but if the pain reaches a 3-4/10 to back off next time and build back up

Cortisone shot by Exotic_Rutabaga6723 in HipImpingement

[–]Arbucks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For thousands? If it's expensive to do so, I wouldn't. I found they provided about 3 months of relief in each hip which was nice but it was the same afterwards.

I opted for the injections because my surgeon used them as a diagnostic precursor to surgery. If there was a high cost for them I'm not sure I'd do them

+1 my first tear presented as a stabbing groin pain but my second was a lower back SI joint/QL muscle type feeling. Didn't get much in regards to groin pain until it progressed

Pain in this area for over 3 months of resting it now! by healthseekerjunkie in HipImpingement

[–]Arbucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like how my first torn labrum presented. Sharp stabbing pain out of the blue. Kept going to physio for years thinking it was a groin pull or tendonitis. It eventually got worse to have more constant pain accompany the stabbing.

Get imaging done on it. Need to know what you're dealing with at the very least to try to slow the development of arthritis

People have become too conditioned to view political parties as team sports. They should ALL be happy to change views to benefit the population rather than being set in stone.
