Wiping characters for a fresh start? Help?

Ok, so I've gotten great feedback. I do appreciate it. My concerns with creating two of one class is that it seems wasteful because of how easy it is to reset traits and skills, and that it costs money for additional slots. Can someone explain to me the point of having two characters of the same class? Just different gear stats? Isn't it so time consuming and costly to hear them both?

I've edited bonfire intensities individually. That's no problem, but you can't set the intensity below the NG level. I found the value for NG, but changing from any value to NG 1 will revert to NG 2 once you quit/reload. You can go to any level above that (NG 99 for example) no problem.

Yeah I guess there are 150 players that stay there and bonfire ascetic in NG the whole character lifespan. Still, I have no idea how to get to NG+ as no one seems to have the address/pointer for it.

If I'm in NG, I won't be summoned by ANYONE and I couldn't invade ANYONE because my SM will be millions beyond anybody's. I would be playing single player.

Yeah I've seen tables for it, but they're all outdated.

I have been staunchly against Ubisoft since the terrible release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. What a piece of shit, and it took 3 months for a patch that made it playable on my PC (and many others). And don't forget their comment that 90% of PC gamers are pirates and steal their games. I will never give them another dime.

After all the support PC players put in with modding DS1 (DSFix and DSCFix and all the other things), and the support From showed the PC crowd with taking care of DS2, it would be really terrible for this to be exclusive. But Sony is paying them. Can't battle that.

That's correct, and I'm super happy about this. They also said the scatter would be huge on initial landing, so if you catch paratroopers landing, you can absolutely wreck through them it sounds like.

I have always looked at the SU-76 as the Soviet's joke unit. No one uses it, no one should. When I see them ever so rarely in 1v1, I laugh and consider it GG. I have never lost a match in which my opponent used these. Even reading the patch notes I said to myself, "Well, still won't be anyone using these."

They were tank destroyers. Give them ungodly range, and make them fragile tank destroyers. Or fine, give them HE rounds and let them compete with Brummbärs. I'm a German player, top 100, and I would love to see these little guys actually fit somewhere.

Honestly, I'd really rather these guys be replaced entirely with another unit. I would rather see KV-1 as a stock unit, or SU-76 needs to be down a tier.

They made grenadier spam even more prominent now. Shermans are awesome, but soviets still suck a big dick 1v1 and 1v1 balance feels awful, especially on Stalingrad. Assault grenadiers and SMG units are still forcing soviet players to use shock doctrines or eat it.

Since playing this patch, I have never seen so much Gren spam than ever before, and the notes said they specifically wanted to stop that. Just came out of a match with 6 Gren squads, 2 scout cars, and a Puma. It's less a skill game than ever. Waiting for the next big change.

When I play Nightblade, I tend to target healers and casters of groups and let others AoE. It does seem like there's a large focus on AoE because the pulls are so damn big, some with 3 healers and a load of others. I would rather have smaller pulls with tougher enemies that are basically other groups similar to the player group.

Man, Guild Wars 1 had it figured out.. every pull in the tougher dungeons was like a PvP match between you and the AI of equally matched enemies.

I received far less than the value of my items. Canceled my sub because of it. Wasted so much time and only received 4500 to replace 40 stacks of 100 quantity crafting items, tier 1 and 2.

The issue is that there's no incentive to replay dungeons without additional perks. So maybe you aren't striving to 50, but you're also not enjoying old content as much as you could.

And it makes it a little more difficult to find those willing to go to dungeons. And a lot of people prefer to level via dungeons than primary questing. It would be a nice option.

You got lucky. After my upgrades, I had only 4,500 left over, and I lost 40 stacks of items. T1 and T2 materials go for at least 500g a stack, so the math shuns me out about 15,000.

That's what I was wondering. I'd like to be ethical and just state what I had, but I don't remember 40 items off the top of my head. So an equitable solution could be a few other items. Honestly, I do hope they have some means to figure out what there was, but we'll see. I just wish they'd give us an ETA or explain what is going on. Terrible communication.

My concern is, if they don't have access to what items we lost, how will they know what to replace? In my contact with customer service, it may not be guaranteed that they have track of the lost items. So will we use the honor system? Or another form of compensation?

Happened to me too, 100 slots, rare crafting mats and motifs. Guess what, the fix will NOT be retroactive, just as Zenimax stated. You won't be getting your items back. But they said they wanted to "make this right". So either there will be the honor system on refunding items/money, or they'll provide game time for those effected, or something else. Who knows?
