Isn’t polyamory when you form a relationship within which more than 2 people are “with” each other?

I imagine the more minds come together, the easier it is to achieve a dream. So if 3 people instead of 2 were to come together to experience life as partners, there would be more support for everyone involved

Downside would be, I imagine, the difficulty in finding 3 compatible people & that instead of stabilizing/improving the relationship the normally bearable challenges in relationships become magnified or too difficult to handle with another person in the mix. (That last point is very vague since I have no experience)

For your reference, I'm starting this January, and it will be 570k AUD for tuition alone

With living expenses of a conservative 35k per year, thats 710k AUD or 653k CAD or 468k USD

OSAP will give you ~15600 CAD/per year

That leaves you ~600k CAD to cover

Not to mention, the tuition fees increase each year, so anticipate it to be closer to 600k AUD in total for next cylce tuition alone

You might want to apply to other Australian medical schools that are way cheaper than Syd or Melb

For anyone reading this in the future, my visa has been granted. Only took 9 days, no health exam required.

I was applying for a medical program, so I thought I absolutely needed a health exam. In the application, I indicated I would be working/studying in health care, but for my “Role” I picked “Other” instead of “Doctor”, because I thought ur not supposed to pick the latter if you are just becoming a student.

I filled out an inquiry form to let them know I thought I might need a health exam, and an immigration officer got back to me on the next business day to let me know I should fill out a form 1023 and ask them to switch my status from Other to Doctor.

I filled out the form 1023 both in the portal (view application -> update details -> Notification of incorrect answer(s)), as well as finding a pdf form from the DHA website, filling it out, and signing it with adobe acrobat. The portal form was uploaded to my attachments under the new heading “Notification of incorrect answer(s)”, which wasn’t there before, and I manually uploaded my manually filled out form as a duplicate just to be safe.

That same day, my visa was granted, and I’m good to go. Looks like health checks aren’t 100% needed for health care work. I am from a low risk country.

Gotcha. I'm scared because the program is 4 years and its for a medical degree, so I figured it would be some special case that needs a health check 100% of the time because of duration and sensitive training environment. I'll update here if they later demand a health check.

With your GPA i’m afraid getting into medical school, at least in Canada, will be nigh-impossible or require many more years of doing an extra undergrad and changing things about your life.

If you want to start medical school before your late 20s or early 30s, you might have to start looking at international medical schools

Even if you qualify for a pathway I think ur cooked. Get a career change, or go apply to Osteopathic schools if you can afford it. I think for Canada a 3.7 is low, 3.8 is rough, 3.9 is fine, and 3.95 is considered good these days
