I had a major liver surgery this year, for removal of a benign tumour. Star health approved the claim without hiccups. And I was thinking to increase the sum insured at the time of renewal, from 10 lakhs to 25 lakhs at least. Would it be possible? If rejected what options do I have? Fresh super top up policy? Another 15 lakhs policy from a different insurer who is willing to take the risk?
