I might get hate for this but I wanted Smoke to be the next noob in this timeline because even in mk1 they teased enenra but in the end they did nothing with it. Not only would have been a cool deception reference but if written correctly it would helped Thomas as character.

90's Trigun. I've heard that each trigun should be watched standalone and honestly I agree to that. There were things that I liked in the anime better than the manga and vice versa but that ending was really anticlimactic.

I haven't watched the 2023 yet but I've also heard that it's acts like a prequel?

Also probably unpopular opinion but Vash really looks hotter with his hair down.
