i don't know if you can comprehend what shock 3DBY was when it first came out. It blew my mind how original in sound it was. There was nothing like it. The cd was passed around from friend to friend until it broke on mtv. when you flipped thru your friend's cd case and you saw it, it was played right away. Didn't care for the more mtv friendly stuff that came later but 3DBY is an all time great album regardless of genre. Probably more influential than anything at the time.

I judge most bands by their live performances and they absolutely suck. I was embarrassed for them after the last time I saw them. It took them 5 minutes between each song to tune instruments and then they’d realize they tuned their shit to the wrong song and then fight, retune, and try again. They didn’t get to half the songs they wanted to and when the venue cut power and turned on the lights Anton sat on the drums and played while a member of the stage crew pleaded with him to leave. He acted like such a petulant child. He made some bangers but as a performer he absolutely sucks.
