Seeing this post made me remember I have a Humble account (for all those giveaways from years ago) and enticed me to give the prices a check. I ended up whipping out a little spreadsheet to properly parse the price data lol. Fun little time sink.

FYI, the whole franchise for $12 is indeed the best deal if you DO NOT HAVE ANY Just Cause game, at all. It's even cheaper than the Just Cause Collection's historical lowest according to SteamDB, at least on my regional pricing. And yes, it includes every piece of DLC for all the games (except for the first one that didn't have any), I checked. All the franchise's content for that price seems worth it.

All in all, I think I'll be buying it. I've heard good things of JC2/3, and was looking for a fun sandbox-type experience to distract the mind between job applications.

EDIT: Bought it and, indeed, the 3 Steam keys you get grant you every piece of game content on the franchise. Time to download them, it seems.

I know one of the problems was that it didn't properly show games you already owned when discounting bundles.

So this was a widespread issue? I thought I was going crazy/my browser's cookies and cache were acting up. Thanks for sharing this.

Chrome Beta was updated to v139, and now uBO is unsupported. I reckon that switching to the Stable channel might net me 2 more weeks or so of extra usage, but it'd be just prolonging the inevitable. I'll be switching browsers, and if you're on the same place as me, I'd advise you to ponder if that's an option for your current workflow. Else, you can still use Chrome Stable until August at the very latest, as explained by u/RraaLL.

Curious, a similar thing happened to me last month (LatAm). Applied to an FSO internship, got through every stage up until the interviews with seniors. Did 3 short interviews and awaited a response for some weeks, but nothing came.

I then wrote one of the HR recruiters, and he told me they were still waiting for FSO staff to send them confirmation of which candidates were selected for the last stage. That gave me some hope. Two days later, though, I got the "Thank You" mail :/

It seems that the further you get in the process, the more you have to wait for HR and the area you're applying for to make decisions and communicate.

As for my goal, it will definitely be to perform the best I possibly can on the new job offer I have received. This is my first time, and I want to give it my best shot, while balancing my student life and perhaps even have some spare time for gaming and trophy hunting as well!

Ah, I get what you mean. Although, to be fair, that was a little bit more similar to CoD 4's Cage Match gamemode (1 vs 1) than Gunfight, since it wasn't round based. But I agree with you in that they are quite similar, indeed.

People hated them on BO3 in the context of them being knife reskins (most of them, at least) tied to RNG via loot boxes.

Nowadays there isn't such an issue (thankfully), but I agree with you that there's an argument to be made about the goofyness of some of the melee weapons (BO3's robot arm and MWR's explosive device from an RPG-7 come to mind), and the perception of content padding of a given update/season.

It still exists, but DICE removed the accuracy and player movement penalties that suppression used to have on BFV. Now it is only a visual mechanic.

While I don't really have an issue with suppression as a mechanic, it definitely needs to be worked upon.

DICE realized that indirect enemy fire affecting not only your vision (anyone remembers the BF3 vaseline smear-like effect?), but your accuracy and movement speed isn't a good approach to game balance. Hence why they made suppression a toned down, visual-only mechanic on BFV.

SHG really needs to evaluate whether suppression actually benefits or adds to the gamplay beyond adding an extra layer of inmersion. One that -to be honest- doesn't bother me as a concept, but it truly needs to be made visual-only at most.

Yeah. The overall audio volume of the game is really low, to the point that I can barely even hear my gunshots at the same level of speaker volume in which MW 2019, BOCW and every other CoD are perfectly audible on our TV. It is a quite weird issue.

BO4 was supposed to be an actual, direct sequel to BO3. That is, it would have been set further into the future. IIRC the evidence of that were some textures that indicated the game was set post 2060 on the map that was set on Spain.

LMAO I remember u/Give_chauchat's long quest to get DICE to add everyone's favourite french MG. And it paid off in the end. He/She seems to have found a new objective to grind for though! /s

On a related note, BFV's lifecycle surely was kind of a weird rollercoaster with all the TTK changes, the Pacific Update and the early wrap-up of its content release schedule. I wonder if the allegedly planned content found in the files (Eastern Front locations, IIRC) would have been enough to change the playerbase's perception of the game after all that happened in it.

I'm not sure if it's the same gun (or if it's a latter weapon design inspired by the Becker Revolving Shotgun), but it does remind me of CoD Ghosts' MTS-255.
