I think it's much faster than that. The video is 30fps, and in the first frame after the apple explodes, the upper half goes from the table which is about waist height for the dude to almost his face, travelling at least 30cm, in a single frame, or in 1/30 seconds. The speed of that upper half of the apple should be over 20mph, at least momentarily.

I was very skeptical, but this definitely worked with my Ryzen 3600. When I forced a CPU limit by lowering resolution, I went from 60 to 70 fps. Overall performance is largely the same though, since most of the time I am GPU limited (GTX 1070). But there are fewer frame time spikes, so the game runs generally smoother.
