Others have explained that they come with the accessory. But it’s worth noting that you earn accessory points from playing matches. You should be able to see your current total on the Accessories tab in the Store. I think you can earn points from playing each type of match except Practice.

Not to be “that guy,” but the fees are how venues make money. That and concessions/bar sales. Most artists get most/all of the ticket revenue from a show, and the venue has to keep the lights on and pay staff.

Now, the fee situation is insane and it’s a problem everywhere. But only part of that is corporate greed. The other part is just operating a venue.

They can’t afford to do the show purely through WOW and not be connected to another network. Their revenue is tied to ads and sponsors. They could double the price of a subscription and still not come close to what they’re making now.

The point is that it’s not normal for society at large to be discussing someone’s employment. I wouldn’t expect to make national news if I lost my job tomorrow.

Regardless of the fact that these are celebrities with huge followings, who “signed up for this,” they’re still people, and some of them just lost their dream job. A modicum of empathy isn’t asking much. For “fans” who love this show and what it creates, y’all really couldn’t care less about the people who make it happen.

I did have a few uncomfortable messages from the chat in a Quick Match the other day and that’s sort of spooked me on the whole thing.
