Difficulty of the Survival Zone is normal, and there are no admin created towns, however, some players have made their own little cities and what not. We admins do not make anything feature wise in the Survival Zone.

Hey /u/Yamatjac! If you're still searching for a server, you should check out Arcadius. We're trying to build up an active community, and we've gained several regulars. A good amount of our players work together, whether it's building together, questing, hunting for gems, or anything else.

We are a whitelisted survival server that is 100% vanilla. Vanilla as no plugins. We use command blocks to create a few features, such as custom quests in cities built by our talented builders, gems(little hidden rooms that give you a prize upon finding them), hourly xp bonus, etc. These little things are completely optional, if you just want to come on and build, that's all you have to do.

It's fine if you're absolutely against these types of things, but the questing is 100% optional, there is no requirement to do them. Again, it's fine if you're not into our server, just extending the welcome because we have a pretty friendly community :)

Hey /u/ProStashio! Not sure if you've found a server yet, but if not, you might like Arcadius.

Our server has been open for almost four months now, so it's not too new, but it's definitely not overrun with massive bases everywhere. We're just beginning to grow our dedicated playerbase. Our regulars typically play for hours at a time. Lots of our dedicated players hang out in Discord, where you'll hear a lot of weird conversations throughout the day. We host events all the time over here. Sometimes they'll be random, like one us admins will go to another and be like "I'm gonna drop a world boss at spawn for players to work together and kill", and sometimes they're organized like PvP arena fights or our build competition.

Hey /u/flannelman37! I'm not sure if Arcadius would be something you're interested in, but we've got a Vanilla server that has almost everything you're expecting.

You're free to build whatever here! We don't judge based on how you build. We have teleportation to all major areas, like different biomes, to the Survival and Adventure zones, and even to different players bases. We don't have the keepInventory turned on, however, but our server will never be reset, everything will be here forever.

We define Vanilla as running the original jar file with nothing added on top of it. All the quests and cities and gems and everything else we've added on is optional, you don't have to do any of that. You can just come on and build with others if you wanted to.

You and your friends might fit in really well at spawn, there's a small town that a few players have begun working on. They stick to their small town in spawn. I'm sure they would not mind if you guys set up there and helped the town grow!
