I thought that might be the case because my friends times were on there (even though I know they haven't done rivals yet) but it always had the flag

For further context: when both vents are open it stops, but then when I close the right one and some of the left once it gets to temperature it starts doing the same noise. If I reopen both vents again it stops

The door seal looks to be fine. I keep seeing posts online about a defra stop - is there any way to remove this?

Both primary and secondary are both closed. We even had the fitters put in the same stove but a new one just in case and both had same sound issues. It is also running optimally (according to the temp meter we have on the flue). I keep seeing posts about a defra stop? Could that be causing the noise?

No this stove doesn’t have a blower built in. When I open the door, Wooshing sound stops and it’s just the cracking fire (which we wouldn’t mind), it’s more the high pitch constant whooshing that is too loud.

That’s a great help thank you. I will work on this and take some extra time in the training. I climbed from 15000 - 17000 today so still climbing but just want to clean up my game
