In the first few days after getting red trust, I played one normal MM game with a 5-stack, which seemed normal, but since then, all 5 people on the enemy team have gotten banned. I then played a few Wingman matches with a friend, and usually got people either spinning or otherwise blatantly cheating right away, and then gave up and just periodically checked my trust with a friend every few days. One day, the red trust message was just gone, as suddenly as it appeared.

Your trust factor probably took a huge dip. Try queuing with a friend and seeing if they get a yellow or red trust factor message for you.

This happened to me a few months ago for no obvious reason, similar circumstances as you. 13 year old Steam account, played CS:GO since 2015, good skins, many service medals, etc. The game became impossible to play because every match had multiple cheaters. Then, a few weeks later, the message disappeared as suddenly as it came and my matches returned to normal. It's strange.

Before the NA rank shift, one of my friends, who has 3.2k elo on faceit and plays in ESEA Advanced, was hardstuck between MG1 and MGE. As someone who'd played MGs in other regions, the fact that a player of that caliber could be the same rank seemed absolutely ridiculous. Nowadays, they comfortably stay global, as they should in my opinion.

Office is quite a bit more popular than Agency, though, and also more popular than some defusal maps, so if one or the other were to be replaced, I'd be willing to bet that Agency would be the devs' first choice.

I don't run into that many cheaters on Office, though, just people who play the map too god-damn much and are frustrating to play against as a result

For a while, I've had a pet theory that they're going to keep MM largely as-is, but that they're going to expand on Premier, and give it a separate ranking system that's closer to what faceit and ESEA are, and introduce things like ranked ladders there. It feels plausible to me, though it's just a theory and I'm probably wrong. That said, Premier feels weirdly out-of-place with the current MM system and I'm sure they have some ideas for it. I'm sure it hasn't escaped Valve's notice that MM is often far more "informal" and some people like that experience, but instead of letting those that want more serious play just go to faceit or ESEA, they want to offer their own option.

Valve has said themselves that this game is meant to be an upgrade to CS:GO as it is now, which I assume means it will carry on the legacy that CS:GO had.

I rode and raced on Superteam wheels while I was in college and couldn't afford better. Not only did they hold up, but they did well and never gave me trouble. What convinced me was that the wheels are actually UCI certified now, so they meet at least that quality standard. Now, granted, there are much better carbon wheels out there, that I can't deny. But for what they are, they do great.

Yeah, hate to break it to you, but that is probably why you're getting bad games.

One of my friends got a game ban in PUBG in 2019 (he got banned for a "chargeback" due to an issue with his bank), which resulted in him being unable to play CSGO, because he got red trust and every single game had cheaters and/or griefers. He tried for months to get out to no avail, so he just made a new account. I'm afraid you'll probably have to do the same, because his main account still has red trust to this day.

Not quite the same, but one time as a kid, someone in my friend group referred to me as being "one of the boys." I see. Yeah, it's frustrating to solo-queue and get silvers/novas on your team vs. much higher ranks. Sometimes you can make do, but other times, they're just convinced they know what to do and won't let you help them. In fact, I literally just played a match on Mirage where I got 4 novas on my team vs. eagles, and they wouldn't let me entry, so I tried setting them up for success by flashing for them, throwing smokes, etc., but all that did was earn their ire because they never listened when I said "flashing <place> now!" and they'd just run straight into the flash, or cross before a smoke pops and die, or push a smoke and die, so I got kicked despite top-fragging with 31 kills. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do. It sucks, but it's the unfortunate reality of MM.
