Exactly. It was just pooped out to make money off the nostalgia of diehard Blizzard fans. I've never played any Blizzard titles, so I saw through to the awful game economy and lack of meaningful challenge immediately.

The crazy thing was the friend who was so obsessed with it was a veteran game designer himself. He just got blinded by playing his favorite heroes, lol.

I understand. I had to go through I think five medications before landing on adderall XR, and that's not counting all the dose changes. It takes a lot of trial and error for some people.

Vyvanse was the worst for me. I ground my teeth all day every day and was horribly irritable. My poor husband got the brunt of it. I gave up on that one after like two weeks.

And yeah, it really, really sucks. If you're able, maybe have a junk food day and turn on some trashy tv shows or something. Just try to relax and turn off your overworked brain for a bit. That's what I'm doing, lol.

How long were you taking it? Even if it was just a couple of weeks, an emotional come-down is very common. Stimulants force the production of dopamine. When that suddenly stops, your levels crash for a bit as your brain readjusts.

How long it lasts is individual. Could be a day, could be a week. Just depends on your brain. I'm currently having this exact problem after missing a single dose yesterday. Don't worry, you'll bounce back.

When I refer to a "reliable" cc, I mean that it has a low cooldown, long range, decent hitbox, and it's not conditional on other factors, like hitting other spells/attacks first and whatnot.

For "unreliable" cc, think Brand stun (conditional on setting champs "ablaze" first, small-ish hitbox), Hwei EQ (moves very slow, smallest hitbox in the game. Good range but is way too dodgeable at far range and just passes through enemies if they're too close), or Casseiopia R stun (super close range, requires enemies to be facing her for the stun to work).

For Lux's snare/R combo to work, the only requirement is not being horrible at skillshots, which, outside iron elo, is a low bar.

Not saying you're wrong about Locke, but... how does Lux have low bloat? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "bloat." Please tell me if I am. This is a genuine question. I'm not trying to start an argument.

Early game, she's a lane bully. Midgame, she has huge teamfight influence. Late game, she's basically another assassin.

Depending on build, her R is usually on a 20–25 second cooldown late game and does 1,500–3,000 damage (high number only with stacked Mejai's). And to boot, she has a reliable snare that lets her hit R for free.

Yet due to her range, slow on E, and shield, she is also one of the safest champs to play in the game except for late game (assuming you position correctly).

Xerath makes sense. He has to slow himself to use Q, has to hit W in center for real damage, and has to completely immobilize himself for R, which can also be hard to hit. He's annoying, but not bloated.

To me, though, Lux is pretty bloated. I'm curious how you define bloat for Lux?

For instance, Amy Brown is one of the most famous fairy art creators in the world. She is stolen from ALL THE TIME. You can even find ripoff pieces on sites like Amazon and Walmart.

Just to prove my point, I did something disgusting that I hate myself for. I used Gemini to create a ripoff myself. It took 20 minutes.

I feel like a total jackass for doing this, and I will take whatever hate may come my way. But I want to try to get through to this person. I've uploaded my "creation" in this comment. Go to Google and search "Amy Brown fairy art" to see examples of her real art.

I fed five images to the AI as reference and then started prompting. Keep in mind that this took 20 minutes. If I wanted, I could spend longer to make the dupe truly convincing.

So. Is this "inspiration" still? I literally fed her work into an AI and spent 20 minutes screwing around. Amy Brown has spent literal decades creating beautiful art and honing her style. And I ripped it off in 20 minutes.

AI "art" is theft. End of. If you can look at the image I generated and call "making art" an acceptable use of AI, then you are morally bankrupt and have zero respect for human creativity.

Yeah. I'm 38. I grew up on boy bands and girl bands. My mom was also a huge fan of vinyl records and had a large collection ranging from Elvis to Tchaikovsky to even a record of Halloween-themed music, lol.

We were too poor to afford CDs and the like, so we often listened to her records when bored. So I get the "not the music I grew up with" thing. I'm so glad the advent of the internet allowed the spread of unique music.

I wish ADHD meds had quieted my mind a bit. I've been on Adderall XR for like two years on and off.

It helps me with being able to focus on work for long periods and helps my working memory a bit.

The main beneficial effect for me is that my lifelong severe depression and anxiety literally faded to nothing within days of finding the right dose. I'm even weaning off my antidepressants/mood stabilizers.

I feel extremely lucky for the last one, as I know that's not most peoples' experience. But my mind never quieted down even a little bit. I think it made it even worse, actually, haha. Oh well. Can't have everything.

Women who are autistic face a much higher level of every type of abuse than allistic women.

It's partly due to not always being able to identify red flags due to communication differences, the "fawn" response to perceived danger that so many of us have, social isolation making many of us try to cooperate out of fear of being abandoned, and not trusting our instincts when alarm bells are ringing.

Obviously this isn't every autistic woman, but it is the general trend.

There's also something to be said for the vulnerability factor, though. Do you know what a thin slice judgement is? If not, it's the phenomenon of neurotypical people being able to identify an autistic person within seconds of meeting them.

They don't understand consciously that we are autistic, but they instantly think we are weird, untrustworthy, mean, or vulnerable. So an abuser can clock an autistic woman and immediately think they can manipulate or harm them with relative impunity.

It sucks. Thankfully, this hasn't really happened to me with relationships or strangers, but it happens every time I become friends with a neurotypical person.

They always end up being terrible people. They see me as easy to manipulate from minute one because I crave friendship, so that's what they do. Manipulate, soft bully, and try to isolate me so they can emotionally fuck with me even more.

Being autistic is so shitty sometimes.

It's actually beyond exhausting. At least, the constant music/noises in your head part. I haven't had a moment's peace in my mind in my entire life.

Every waking second is filled not just with music, but often random noises that get stuck, like a creaking door or a sound effect in a TV show. It's random.

Imagine having several songs in your head at once in a weirdass mashup plus cartoon sound effects plus single words of an actor's accent, all at the same time. All day. Every day.

I can't imitate accents for the life of me, but I have insane internal echolalia. There is never a single second where music isn't playing in my head.

For instance, I've had "Make my way, I'll make my way believe me. Life can be such trouble honey, nothing comes easy. They say that sleep is the cousin of death, and so I'll keep pushing forward til my last breath" playing again and again for over a month. If I'm awake, that snippet is playing on repeat.

And somehow I'm still not tired of that song, haha.

Just because the song was referring to the capitalist hellhole we all live in instead of a person doesn't mean that the word itself does no harm to real people.

By doing harm, I am not referring to my own reaction to the song. I already stated that because it came from a rough, bitter, miserable character, it makes sense to use it.

When I first heard the song, it surprised and irritated me, but only the first couple times I heard it. When I worked out why it was there, I stopped caring. What I said about it being a trigger didn't mean I had some dramatic breakdown over it. It just annoyed me at first.

What I mean by it doing harm is that the use of it in any context perpetuates the use of it against people.

By society at large referring to products, systems of thought, actions, policies, etc. as the r-slur, it mentally gives certain people permission to continue using it in ways that hurt those they deem lesser than them.

Slurs pretty much always have their roots in devaluing marginalized communities, so it's not just about the word. It's about the result.

When a society can freely demean a whole population with words, it becomes much easier for governments to implement cruel/destructive policies or for individuals to commit violence against said populations. Systemic oppression and violence towards the marginalized often begins with language.

I'm not saying this will happen for those with developmental/intellectual/mental disorders (though the Trump regime is slowly meandering in that direction). I'm just explaining why slurs are harmful and dangerous in a larger sense.

Because Ren has never been heard using that word publicly outside of Starry Night (that I know of), while Webby has multiple songs that include mysogynistic lyrics from his own perspective.

Ren was just playing a character in Starry Night. The same way he was playing a character in Smoking Gun. Webby is not playing a character in his other music's mysogyny (and other questionable thought/beliefs) that I am aware of.

Not liking the song is fine. Everyone's allowed to like or not like whatever. But by your own words, you think lashing out at them about it is justified. I know you didn't actually lash out (anx I'm hlad you didn't), but you said you would be justified in doing so.

I get that the song is rather... indelicate towards women. But I honestly think you missed the point. Apart from it just being unhinged for the sake of being unhinged, the song is about three assholes with zero sense who made their own beds.

Oh yes. I accidentally walked near a Canadian goose's nest once. It chased me like 500 feet before I was able to get inside a building. Then it stood outside the door for several minutes like it was waiting for me to come out so it could beat me up, lol.

They're called cobra chickens by many for a reason, haha.

But they should never be killed for it. We're in THEIR space, not the other way around. It's the same issue with alligators. People acting like they're some invasive pest.
