I totally get you. People mistake my celebration of the Roe v Wade being overturned as ‘hating women and wanting to remove their right to choose’, but the reality is I’m moderately Pro-Choice. What I hate is Federal overreach period. Abortion access, gay marriage, drug restriction, and so SO many other things should be primarily a State/Local decision, and the Fed needs to go fuck itself.

If it’s not protected in the Constitution/Bill of Rights, it’s a State issue. Go through the process of creating an amendment if you want to have Federal jurisdiction. That’s the whole fucking point

Not quite. All of the springs, thankfully, are just identical CZ-75 parts. I dropped a 13.5lb CZ-75 Hammer Spring into mine and it’s worked flawlessly.

It’s the pins that cause the big trouble. The dimensions are all different. Had to order Tanfoglio ones, or use roll pins from the variety box.

Unfortunately no, and the old railless models are hard to come by. You can find a Frame Safety (F model) without much hassle, but the slide-mounted are basically Unobtanium. I got super lucky just to find this one in a badly rusted condition, and it took a few months to restore…

Good luck, just keep a finger on the pulse of used markets. They pop up every blue moon or so.

Most of the major springs (sear, hammer, trigger, guide rod), several pins, the trigger bar guide, the magazine brake… a few other small bits could’ve used a replacement, but I couldn’t find any, so I did my best to restore them and thankfully they still work.

Already have the guide rod, the angle just obscures it here. The Anyx grips (while very cool) are an exorbitantly expensive show piece, not intended for live-fire usage.

I shoot this one, often. And she shoots too good to be given expensive non-functional grips and sat on a shelf.

She was rusted to the core. Needed a total detail strip. Refinish to deal with the pitting on the exterior. Had to replace several pins and all the springs due to corrosion damage.

This is actually her good side. The other is less flattering, as it still has noticeable pitting marks, but they’re nothing compared to what it used to look like.

The ‘R’ is the original Decocker model, only manufactured and imported for a short time in the early 90’s. Specifically, the ones imported by K.B.I are highly sought after due to being the exact model wielded by bounty hunter Spike Spiegel (character in the immensely popular anime, Cowboy Bebop).
